paulbates Posted February 26 Posted February 26 What i saw in the announcement was that the latest update provided the ground work for it, get the software foundation in place on eisy 1 Quote
brians Posted Thursday at 11:54 PM Posted Thursday at 11:54 PM Since they mention EISY only, I am presuming this will not work on Polisy. I wonder if it is going to be a near-exact web based replica of the Java AC, and difference is no requirement to install Java ? Or maybe it is going to be the actual AC access from client using RDP/XRDP? I do not have an EISY, but is it possible to directly run AC, and PG3x etc. running on EISY with a monitor/keyboard/mouse attached. Quote

Not sure about it being eisy only since there was one recent big software update that included all of it for both eisy and policy 1 hour ago, brians said: Or maybe it is going to be the actual AC access from client using RDP/XRDP? It will be web pages that provide the functionality that the admin console currently does. We have to use our imaginations as to what it will look like. I'm fairly confident it will not be a remote terminal session to a Java version of the admin console. While the core ISY functionality as an home automation server will likely remain java, the web service that provides the functionality won't be built on java... likely built on what pg3x uses. Quote
Andy P Posted Friday at 09:04 AM Posted Friday at 09:04 AM My imagination says that they will use what they learned from the U-D mobile app and apply that to a full function console. 1 Quote
brians Posted Friday at 05:48 PM Posted Friday at 05:48 PM @Andy PYes UD Mobile has come a long way. However I think it still has some limitations with some programs not supporting editing. Quote
mmb Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Not entirely what you're likely looking for but UD Mobile works quite well with Bluestacks 5 Android Emulator. I installed the emulator then grabbed UD Mobile from the Google Play Store. I haven't done extensive testing but lights and scenes turn off and on 👍 Edited 12 hours ago by mmb Quote
