Since they mention EISY only, I am presuming this will not work on Polisy.

I wonder if it is going to be a near-exact web based replica of the Java AC, and difference is no requirement to install Java
? Or maybe it is going to be the actual AC access from client using RDP/XRDP?

I do not have an EISY, but is it possible to directly run AC, and PG3x etc. running on EISY with a monitor/keyboard/mouse attached.

Not sure about it being eisy only since there was one recent big software update that included all of it for both eisy and policy

It will be web pages that provide the functionality that the admin console currently does. We have to use our imaginations as to what it will look like.

I'm fairly confident it will not be a remote terminal session to a Java version of the admin console. While the core ISY functionality as an home automation server will likely remain java, the web service that provides the functionality won't be built on java... likely built on what pg3x uses.

Not entirely what you're likely looking for but UD Mobile works quite well with Bluestacks 5 Android Emulator.

I installed the emulator then grabbed UD Mobile from the Google Play Store.

I haven't done extensive testing but lights and scenes turn off and on 👍

How do you transfer your settings from your phone to this?  I have exported the ud mobile to my pc, but can't import them from blue stack emulator.

EDIT:  I figured out an easy way.  I installed gmail in the blue stacks emulator and then emailed the file to myself and downloaded it from gmail within the emulator and then it was in the emulator download folder.  Trouble is, when I tried to install the backup, it said there was a version conflict.  I signed up for the beta version on my phone, I have now signed up for it in the emulator.  Waiting to see if that works.

EDIT 2:  That worked.

Hi @brians - Noone appeared to answer your last question. Yes, you can plug a monitor mouse and keyboard into eISY to use AC & PG3X. I have not personally done it, but several posts and pictures from Michel after eISY launched showed and talked about just that.

In case you're curious, the eISY box is actually a purchased mini-computer by MeLE (available on Amazon) which comes with Windows that UDI has replaced with all its custom software (probably a little more complicated than that...).

Curious that it is available overnight on Amazon and UD is backordered.

@apostolakisl - that's not surprising to me - UDI may order some different custom/specific internals such as memory, blank operating system, etc. - they do have some labelling changes, a custom label on the bottom, completely different packaging needs, etc.

Also, they likely need to purchase them in large batches of at least hundreds at a time to keep the price as low as possible for us. I can assure you that they are not simply ordering the exact retail products as-is and doing all the changes afterwards. MeLE also makes dozens of different variants themselves so the production line is likely batch-building as well, so orders must be scheduled and slotted in to align with all other production needs.

I get that, but I find it surprising that UD would not have managed their supply times better knowing all that, unless the manufacturer had supply chain issues, but then I would expect that I wouldn't be able to get it on Amazon.  Perhaps there is some unique hardware component the UD wanted that went on backorder.
