2 Buildings one network

On my property I have a main building where my network is with my eisy and insteon devices.  I also have a separate building a few hundred feet away that is on the same network via a ubiquiti bridge with insteon switches in it.  It is also on a separate power meter.  Is there a way to have those switches also in the eisy?  Maybe I need a second eisy and PLM and just manage it separately or is there a way since it is on the same network to do something fancier?

Have you tried testing something like a lamplinc in that other building, to see if insteon signals can get there?

If not, then IP based devices might be an option, since your network goes to it. What type of device are you looking to control?

Is the separate building on the same electrical service? A test is to take a lamp module and lamp, put it out there and see what's what

Maybe others have had better luck than I have with sharing Insteon between two buildings that have some distance between them. I have a garage about 60 feet from the main house structure, and it's on the same electrical service as the main house (which is where my eisy is). I tested a few Insteon devices in the garage to see if I could get them to respond but wasn't successful. Network connectivity, however, worked great across both structures.  So I used Kasa WiFi switches instead of Insteon in the garage. They connect to the eisy via a plugin and work just fine.

Yep. I only have a few switches in the garage, along with some Ring and Yolink devices, and they all integrate with the single eisy just fine.
