I have a YoLink water meter without the shutoff valve (I have Model YS5007) that is inline with my irrigation system.  My Universal Devices Console does not read the current water meter reading from the YoLink hardware, it just displays "Zero" US Gallons.  I am trying to capture the water meter reading before irrigation and then capture the water meter reading after irrigation.  Any help would be appreciated to accurately display the water meter reading.

Maybe because it's not supported? Here's the list from their Polyglot page.

I do not know how devices instantiate and I do not have one yet - just ordered the new one with shutoff valve.  I believe it should be an easy add once I get a log

I am considering the Yolink YS 5002 motorized water shutoff valve (or possibly model YS 5012-UC or YS 5018). Have you been able to add these to the Plugin yet with success?

I am working on it - - the motorized valves should be there already 5018 works, and I am working on 5009 and 5029

I am in the process of re-factoring the node, but I have them in the code - probably a few more weeks (Yolink is not consistent how these devices report data, so I have to refactor my code)

Note, some of these devices (09,29) are a little difficult to handle, as they go to sleep without activity and then you cannot control them while they sleep (you need to press set, or there has to be activity ) - YoLink is working on a new FW that allow the app (API) to turn off the valve manually.

Note, currently the devices need to be awake when you add them - I am working to improve this (part of the refactoring)
