EISY not responding...

Featured Replies

Posted

My EISY stopped responding to Alexa commands a week or so ago and none of my programs were executing.  I was able to log into the admin console and see everything but when I tried turning off a light, I got an error (screen shot it). I tried upgrading to the latest version. No changes. Today I logged in and it was fine and I thought it might be the PLM.  I see green lights but I unplugged it and disconnected it for a moment and plugged it back in.  I rebooted the EISY.  Now it won't accept my username and password!  I am completely locked out... but I can still get into it from my.isy portal.  Same issue with no response when I try to turn off a light switch.  Desperately need help from somebody on how to restore my access to admin console and how to troubleshoot.  I have a ton invested in this system. My email is stu@stu.org if anyone can reach out. THANKS!!!

@stupalermo interesting error. Can't say I've seen that one.

Your best bet is to open a support ticket with UD - https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets

Rather than having other users giving a bunch of random suggestions if you've not done anything, but you did an update and now cannot access the device it's best to get UD help for the best troubleshooting steps and not randomly trying things or suggesting options that could make the situation worse to recover from.

Since you said you tried to update to the latest version it's possible something got hung during that process. Even though you didn't think there was anything different something underlying could have been corrupted.

Good luck.
