TimeData node server for Polyglot2

Featured Replies

Hoping someone can help me out here. The other night I was doing some troubleshooting on my ISY994. I ended up deleting a few nodeservers on my local polyglot server. One being the TimeData server created by Gordon Larsen - ve7gel - https://github.com/ve7gel/Timedata. This link no longer exist, but I would like to get a copy of the nodeserver back on my system. Does anyone have a backup they can send me?

Thanks,

Andrew

Unfortunately this is not a fix. I am using PG2 on an ISY994 and cannot access the PG3 nodeserver.

The main problem here is you are using two outdated and no longer supported services. Both PG2 and ISY994 are well beyond their anounced end of life date.

To continue taking advantage of the features you are looking for, you would need to update to eisy and PG3x.

You can't expect a developer to attempt to support an out dated plugin when he would have no way to test or even distribute the product.

UD has stated that PG2 will be shutdown at some point, I'm surprised you can still access it.

If you are interested in updating, I think UD has a current discount offer for eisy.

@aca2b2 as @DennisC points out it's unlikely you'd find the outdated PG2 nodeserver anywhere. Perhaps @glarsen might have it stored in a personal archive somewhere that could be available. Tagging @glarsen to try to get attention to this thread to see if they can be of any assistance.

Otherwise, the options are to go without it or upgrade to the eisy and the PG3 plugins. There is indeed a discount currently available (until Nov 21) if you read about the release of the eisy r2 that was just posted a couple of days ago.

Good luck.

@aca2b2 , I sent you a PM with a zipfile with an old PG2 version (2.2.10). Good luck. Please note there is no longer any support for this version. YMMV

@glarsen File received and working. Thanks!! @DennisC I have purchased the EISY but have yet to install it. There are several things in my current ecosystem that will need to changed when I update, which is why I have postponed it for so long. I am a big fan of Mobilinc, which is also no longer supported, but is still working and being used by my entire family. I just need to set some time aside to get everything changed. @Geddy Thanks for connecting @glarsen . I really appreciate it.

Mobilinc still works with eisy. Just very limited. I never used their connected version, but had the pro/HD versions and used it for a while when I first changed over to the eisy. UD Mobile is a little better as it handles more of the devices that get added via the plugins, but even then I never really used the mobile apps much so neither are a highly used app for me. I'm not sure the version you're using of Mobilinc, but if you're using the pro/HD versions they still login the way they always have (either by direct local connection or through the UD Portal). If you used the connected versions then they might not work for you.

Glad you got the old files working again.
