This used to be listed for $152. Today I see it listed for $826.00 This must be a mistake?. Also it always seems to be out of stock. Are there other alternatives that work with eISY. I have tons of insteon devices but would like to get into the zigbee / zigwave / matter ecosystem.

If you want zigbee, then this is the only choice. If you only want Zwave, then a Zooz 700 series dongle wirks fine. You don't need anything additional for Matter, since it's IP based. To support Matter over Thread, you need a border router.

It may be a placeholder price due to it being out of stock...not sure why they'd do that but I doubt that is correct. Can't see it costing more than the controller itself and waaaaay out of line with UDI's historical pricing strategy

Where do you see this? I went to UD's site and the price is showing $152.

It was showing as $826 right up until a couple of days ago.
