I have added yolink devices to my polisy and it woks fine, but now I found I cannot controll them from the yolink app, and I am pretty sure I used to be able. Is this expected?

No. The YoLink app is how you configure your devices. The app and the plugin point to the same YoLink cloud services

  • You're certain that YoLink devices are active, updating and/or controllable from the polisy or UDM?

  • What happens with the YoLink app? You can log in? Are there errors?

  • What about the error log or event viewer, what do they say?

they are working in the program I have i.e. they trun on and off at the right time. They are working from another insteon controller, and at the youlink physical device. However, they do NOT seem to be working from the UDI app nor the Yolink app.

On the app I did not get any errors, just they are non-responsive (even after closing and relaunching the app)

also, I can controll them from the admin consol

Can you enable debug in the PG3x console - restart the node server wait 5-10 min and then download the log and send it to me - I can see if there are errors during initilization - It sounds to me like the yolink node is not installed correctly

in the yolink app I am getting no internet connection error, which is strange becase I am getting real time pool temp updates from yolink devices

I have two Yolink hubs, both say "online", strange

Can you define what the different APPs you mention are - is it UDmobile, The AC, the new eISY or ? I assume the YoLink app is the one from YoLink/YoSmart on your phone ?

Sometimes you need to reboot/restart the eISY/Polisy for things to fully deploy (never found the pattern)

well now I wonder if it is totally on my end. When I try to reset the wifi comnnection on my two hubs it says no interent, despite some of the devices working, so totaly confused but it COULD be totally on my end with the you link app

The AC works the UD mobile does not

wierd..as both hubs on the app say "online"

Could there be someone around having another hub - YoLink devices will work with any hub it sees - not only the ones registered to you. but they need a connection to show data (unless you use the LocalHub)

Did you try to sync UDmobile?

It does sound a little like an issue on your side, but cannot say for sure

I did a diagnosis on the Yolink app and it said my account information was incorrect despite some of the things working so I logged out and logged back in and everything is working now. So sorry to bother you it was all in my end, Who knows what happened but at least it's working now thanks for all your help

...well, everyting is working from the yolink apop but not yet on UD mobile, maybe I need to resync?

nope..some dvevice work some od not (from UDI Mobile)

i know there are some issues with udMobile that is supposed to be fixed with next release. it may be related to that. if AC works with the same devices i believe it is udMobile related
