IoX Finder can't find eISY

Featured Replies

I've looked at earlier descriptions of this problem, but those solutions are not working for me. I see the pinned item at the top of this forum topic, but it does not work for me either. I've cleared Java cache, and reinstalled latest version. When i put in the URL http://192.168.xx.xx:8080/admin.jnlp into the add dialog box it says its not found. Portal and mobile work fine. But, I don't believe I can update firmware or manage programs from there. Thanks in advance.

In the IoX Finder add HTTPS://EISY. LOCAL:8443/DESC and click on save

Are you now able to access your eisy?

Not Found

Unfortunately

Tried adding an entry in IoX finder with the ip address directly? Eg:

https://192.168.0.123:8443/desc

Thanks for your assistance. Followed above instructions. eISY not found after startingIoX finder. Entered the URL you provided in your first response, HTTPS://EISY. LOCAL:8443/DESC and again, received a Not Found message.

Have you tried it with the ip address as I suggested?

Yes Sir.

Check your router to verify eisy is connected and you have the correct IP address.

Correct me if I'm over assuming here, but since I can see eISY on the mobile, and the portal, I assume it's on the network and the router has it.

Not necessarily, UD Mobile could be using the remote portal connection and not your local connection.

You should sign in to your router and verify you are using the correct IP address.

Okay. DennisC gave me the answer. The eISY was connected to the router, but with a different IP address than what the portal/mobile was showing me. Entered the correct IP and it popped. Do I just SAVE it to find it automatically, or will I need to enter the URL for each access?

Thanks for your guidance.
