I have a Polisy running 5.8.4. Haven't looked at it in a while (months). Today's email about Java & Admis Console going away prompted me to look. I discovered that my ISY finder can't find the system. I'm on Windows 11. Reinstalled Java, cleared cache. Still nothing. I tried to add it manually - "not found". I tried both http & https versions - no luck. System is up and functional.

I tried to upgrade via phone app (which is working well), thinking that this will give me access to eisy.local. Upgrade starts, runs for a bit, then returns back to the Firmware update available screen, still showing 5.8.4 current, 6.0.5 available. I went to the ISY portal, kicked off "upgrade packages", it seems to have run. System is back, still same firmware, still not found via either eisy.local or ISY finder.

Please help me get to some sort of a console. Thanks.

5.8.4 is getting a bit old. Have you verified if your operating system meets the minimum version for upgrades? Look at the current release requirements, indicated in the second post above.

If the version is ok, then you'll need to upgrade using a ssh session and the commands indicated earlier.

For IoX finder, add a new entry with the ip address in it, such as

https://192.168.0.123:8443/desc

and try that.

Thanks for the quick reply! Well - without a console, I'm not really sure how to check. Also, if not, what's my path forward?

This is very old please open a ticket for upgrade instructions

I opened the ticket, as requested. However, to close the loop - I did try adding/accessing with IP also, still no luck.
