There seems to an upgrade now available for IOX, UDX, and Eisy UI. v6.1.2_10 v5.0.0_7 v1.4.4

Has any one upgraded to these yet?

I have, on one of my test Polisys.

OK, I think I'll wait for a day or two. I don't have a test device anymore.

I did.. I'm like you and normally wait a week or so but rolled the dice this AM! So far all seems okay,

No reboot was required, but is it best practices to still reboot the eisy after an upgrade?

Using the new web UI eisy.local IMO is over-rated at this point. After reading the EISY User Guide there are many features missing which require use of the Admin panel noted below.
Features only in Admin Console

Many features still require the admin console, such as:

• Everything related to Insteon, ZWave, Zigbee or Matter

• Scenes

• Create or modify programs

• Backup & restore

• Upgrade packages

• Logs (Error log, event log, etc)

• Everything under Configuration (except Portals)

• OpenADR

WOOPS! I didn't reboot and couldn't get into the NODES section of web UI. Nor could I log into my PG3X stuff. SO... a reboot fixed all.

Guess I will make a reboot a mandatory part of my upgrades! And wait a week as usual!!!

That is out dated data, please upgrade everything listed is now supported

Is there a set of instructions somewhere for how to upgrade and how to get started with the new admin UI? All I've seen is the announcement and hadn't seen any reference to upgrade instructions.

Thanks; I've been using the admin console exclusively for years and got an email that it was being discontinued, so figured now was the time to switch over.

Basically you use the admin console to upgrade your eisy's packages (which installs the new UI), then point a web browser at the eisy's URL. Details in this wiki article.
