23 hours ago23 hr I saw today's announcement saying that the EISY-UI is some 90+ % ready. So I called it up and wanted to edit a program....1st problem - the programs come up in some random order that you have to carefully look through to find the one that you want to modify - there is no way to re-sort them by name or any other criteria. I found the one I wanted to edit, clicked on the line I wanted to edit, found the field I wanted to change - it was a fixed number (not in an integer or state variable. I couldn't type directly into the box to change the number, instead a pulldown comes down that allows you to select a new number. The problem was I wanted to change a number from 60000 to 90000. Which took a long time to page down the dropdown list. Then when I went to save the program, it said I had an invalid character in the program name (although it was valid under the ADMIN Console.)So I changed the name and went save the file, and the screen went blank.I re-opened EISY-UI - found the program again - the program name had gone back to the original name. re-did the edit and changed the file name again, and this time it worked.Lastly, I couldn't find how to create or edit a network resource - I see where i can edit a network resource in a program, but not how to create one or edit one outside of a program. When you put out release notes, you should say what new is working, what still is in development, what needs more testing, NOT it's 98% there.
23 hours ago23 hr To sort the programs, hover your mouse over the "Program" title bar, and click on the three little dots that appear. You can then choose to sort by ascending or descending order.Yes, it still needs work, but it's getting there.

14 hours ago14 hr I hear your frustration, I have been on this journey for the last few months. It truly is in the nineties here, we can debate where. Functionally the 98% is accurate, the polish makes up the other percentage. I have deleted admin from my launch bar and haven’t used it for weeks. I use easy-ui daily. As said above you can sort by any column, the number box does prefer the pulldown but if you click in the box and type it does work. Network stuff does work but needs some polishing. Have not experienced the legal character thing. There are lots of design decisions in this thing which are like new clothes replacing favourite old ones. You did the right thing by trying out what you use and listing them here. I would personally have dropped the dramatic title but understand the frustration. I think as Michel and Javi have on the roadmap we are going to take to the end of year for near replacement & then first quarter to smooth it all out. The nice thing is they are also giving us new features in parallel due to the new platform. Glass half full here.
11 hours ago11 hr The only thing missing for me is the Find/Replace function. Once that's added, it will be fully functional for me. After that, it's all about getting used to it.
4 hours ago4 hr Author Thank you all for the comments....I was in a hurry to post and didn't include all the pertinent information. 1) When I entered EISY-UI, I was looking for the resource manager, so I went through the hamburger menu and selected each item in it. When I got to "system", I saw that I didn't have the latest software for several modules, so I hit 'update packages", waited for it to complete, and assumed that was all I need to do to get the latest. After reading your comments, I decided to reboot the EISY and TADA, the missing pieces were there. I am now able to modify programs, and I can re-sort them but I do have a question or 2....1) I wanted to re-name an existing program and couldn't figure out how to do that. Right clicking on the program brings up a menu but "rename" isn't on it. Is that "missing" or is there another way that I am not aware of?2) Does EISY-UI only run on a computer (ie, no access from an iPhone of iPad?)3) If I go to the "settings" menu item, it shows 3 things PG3, portal and display. If I select PG3, it gives me an error "Error: Internal server error", what does this mean?4) If I go to the "EISY PLUGINS" menu item, there are 3 buttons - ADD, MIGRATE from PG3, REINSTALL ALL and a message saying no plugins are installed. What are we supposed to do with this page? Clicking on MIGRATE gives an "Internal server error". That's it for now...Thanks for the help.
