thermostat 2441V1 RF conflict with Sonos S5 wireless??

I, too, am having periodic communication issues, especially with my thermostats but also with my dual band switches on occassion. My most recent theory is that there may a conflict between the RF of the 2441V1 module and my Sonos S5 wireless system. With Sonos unplugged, I haven't had the problem. Anyone else have Sonos and Insteon? Does this possibility make sense to anyone?

I believe the Sonos uses the 2.4GHz band.

I should be able to look it up in the FCC database if you can find the FCC ID number.

May start with a SBV.

Is part of your Sonos system on the network the ISY99i is also on?

Yes, the Sonos is on the same network as the ISY. The Sonos' FCC code is SBVRM002. IC: 5373A-RM002.

Thanx for sharing your knowledge.

The 2441V1 uses 915MHz as do all the Insteon RF devices.

The Sonos S5 uses 2412MHz to 2462MHz.

There should be no direct interference.

Though my years of RF repairs, makes me think it maybe possible for a strong signal to over load the Insteon RF. Again depending on the design of the Insteon RF receivers. That we have no schematics on.

You are using the wireless and not the built in Ethernet port on the S5?
