cinbergs Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 I, too, am having periodic communication issues, especially with my thermostats but also with my dual band switches on occassion. My most recent theory is that there may a conflict between the RF of the 2441V1 module and my Sonos S5 wireless system. With Sonos unplugged, I haven't had the problem. Brian H Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 I believe the Sonos uses the 2.4GHz band. I should be able to look it up in the FCC database if you can find the FCC ID number. Brian H Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 The 2441V1 uses 915MHz as do all the Insteon RF devices. The Sonos S5 uses 2412MHz to 2462MHz. There should be no direct interference. Though my years of RF repairs, makes me think it maybe possible for a strong signal to over load the Insteon RF. Again depending on the design of the Insteon RF receivers.
