KSaccullo
Extended ASCII characters in program name changed by ISY-99i Used an omega Ω (Alt 234) in a program name. The program name saved with no issue. When I called the program with the Ω it was present and the name correct. However when I closed and reopened the admin console all references to the "Ω" were replaced with a "?" All the programs ran (forced test) as they should but it seemed weird that the ISY-99i would rewrite the character. Guess I should avoid these for now. Michel Kohanim
Hello Kevin, That's indeed quite odd. This said, Admin Console is a client of two things for representing characters: 1. The system character set (such as English-US) 2. The browser character set (in case you are running an applet) So, in short, if omega is not represented in the character set, we are going to have some problems representing it. Michel Kohanim
Hello everyone! As you may know, we have had couple of reported instance of programs not behaving properly. We need your help to get to the bottom of this issue since we have not been able to reproduce this problem. If you DO have a program that behaves (or at one pointed behaved) improperly, please do post to: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=7633 Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Michel
Mike_405
One thing to check for is that you are trying to update the correct file. When I use Safari to download the .ZIP it actually extracts the files out of the .ZIP then throws the .ZIP file into the trash. You need to select the .ZIP file to update. I end up dragging it out of the Trash onto the desktop and point to the file on the desktop. Andy, thanks for the tip. I generally use Firefox but if I use Safari I'll look for this. Michel Kohanim
Hello all, Release 3.1.15 is now available. With kind regards, Michel
tgutwin
I haven't had a chance to update to 3.1.15 but wanted to report a few low priority things I see in 3.1.15 1 bug - the "new folder" icon graphic is blank or missing on the admin app toolbar and 1 change that might or might not be correct a dialog is left open on admin app opening - its titles the Insteon Finder dialog. it stays behind in the window z order and appears to open before any other admin app windows open it then just stays open (and behind). I can close it no problem (it has a cancel/add/delete/refresh button at the bottom I am running it with Java 7.0.01-b08 oracle java web start (javaws) to my local isy ie... javaws http://10.0.0.202/admin.jnlp I have a 99i/ir pro (1050) with firmware 3.1.14 I will upgrade to 3.1.15, in the next few days and let you know if these persist. tom
Michel Kohanim
Hi Tom, Thank you but I have to warn you that Java 1.7 is full of bugs so much so that we had to revert to 1.6.29. And, yes, we had all sorts of issues with icons and menus. ISY Finder is designed that way. With kind regards, Michel
