I see that Ecobee has shut down the integration we were using and now it has to be accessed indirectly. When I try to pair my ecobee so that I can use the homekit hub I'm stuck because I'm android. Is there a workaround for this?

Hi, I installed the free version awhile ago and couldn't get any data to populate. I can honk the horn and probably other functions like that. The test connection completes with success. The controller shows connected but initially showed 99 after restart. BACKGROUND: I upgraded from an ISY994 to the EISY last summer. I had posted on 7/17/2025 and 7/22/2025 regarding using the MQTT plug-in to parse 1Wire sensor data from my NodeLink server running on a Raspberry Pi over to the EISY. I dropped the project when I figured out how to get the NodeLink working directly in the EISY and PG3. However, the NodeLink communications seems to cause a heavy burden on the EISY -- I get a lot of 'System Busy' pop-ups. This eventually causes the EISY to not be able

Jimbo, The reason I also asked about why I can't update homekit to the latest version is because I wondered if that had anything to do with my ecobee plugin stopping working, the plugin hasn't worked for a few weeks now and the normal restarting tricks haven't worked. My ISY994i pro is starting to glitch and I'd very much like to not be dependent on UDI for yet another piece of hardware that I'll just have to replace in a few years. I see my two main choices are 1) Use a PLM directly or 2) Get a Hub 2 and then integrate HA with the Hub. I'd rather integrate directly with the PLM but it seems native Insteon scene management may be an issue unless this has been implemented in HA since. Otherwise if I want native scene management, I'd have to go Hub 2 which kind

I'm looking for some guidance on how to fix my Insteon network. Background. We had a power outage a couple of weeks ago which seemed to precipitated my issues. My EISY system is on a UPS but not the Insteon modem (for obvious reason). The UPS gave up after about 2hrs so both EISY and the modem were down. When the power came back on the EISY system couldn't talk to the Insteon network. I initially tried unplugging the modem, plugging it back in, and then rebooting EISY, all to no avail. I then tr

I Have an Eisy with the Zigbee dongle. I had modified a Zigbee door contact to notify me when my generator is running. The door contact failed after working for a year, and I attempted to replace it with a similar one. When I tried to pair the new contact, my Eisy seemed to lose its mind. It kept interviewing non-existent Zigbee devices and I couldn't make it stop. After 20 minutes or so I rebooted the Eisy.
