In stock on May 1, 2016 $29.95 is a good price though. Seems I saw the remote listed before it ran out of stock for around $50? Odd though because the Voice remote that comes with Fire TV works with Echo and the bundle is only $49.99 Jon...

You can use it as a location point as you would a phone and program events when the car enters into a specified area. If you look over the connect car channels on IFTTT you'll see a number of options.. Dash, Zubie, Mojio Jon...

Also, you might include "and not switched on" in your program for each button. Jon...

Curious then what version of UI you're using? Help > About in admin console, firmware and UI version should be the same. Jon...

It makes no difference if the button is in a scene or not it should be able to trigger a program. Jon...

I've looked at it but don't own it. Seems to be rated fairly highly and has IFTTT channel. What are your plans for it? Jon...

Amazon has 15a available. If you use "16 amp" vs 16a in search I think you'll have better results. Jon...

Range Extenders, Lamplincs, On/OFF Modules I believe all utilize similar RF transmitters which IMO are noticeably stronger than that used with hardwired devices like switchlincs or outletlincs. I don't know the hardware specifics and really am just guessing (this effect may be due to the fact the device isn't set in the wall) however, the phase coupler is hardwired and doesn't rely on RF which ensures coupling. Whether or not you'll need bridging in your install is questionable but lack of it surely causes problems. The Portal is UDI's secure gateway to ISY eliminating the need for DDNS and hassling with certificates plus added benefits of the network resource module, Echo and IFTTT integration. Jon...

Have you considered bridging electrical legs? This can be done with a phase coupler or a couple of range extenders. Anyway.. after getting ISY up and running with the latest firmware you can start installing switches, one or all but they need to be linked independently (install then link one at a time starting nearest the PLM may be helpful.) After that developing scenes and programs is the remaining piece. It may be helpful to install the portal so you'll have easy remote access to your Mom's ISY. Jon...

The integration would be cloud based and likely IFTTT depending on controller. It would not be as tight as ISY to ISY Jon...

I think there are plans for integrating two ISY's in upcoming firmware. This would allow one Z-Wave and the other Zigbee but I don't know what's become of it. Jon...

How-To: Command A/V network receivers via Amazon Echo
jerlands replied to Mancavesupreme's topic in Amazon Echo
Ok.. I don't have Pioneer but appears network standby setting needs to be on but this doesn't seem to prevent the hangup. I put all my electronics behind a filtered UPS and power conditioner but use an ON/OFF module after the UPS to power off all devices. The ON/OFF module is blocked from powerline signals but RF only works fine. Jon... -
I'm assuming you meant you disabled Mobilinc Connect in favor of the ISY Portal? You can still use Mobilinc with the Portal however if you are using iPhone you do lose some functionality as notifications. There is no way I'm aware of to get the status of a device from Echo. Here are a list of commands for Connected Home and Alexa Skill. Jon...

How-To: Command A/V network receivers via Amazon Echo

Sounds like you need to either give the receiver a static IP or reserve an IP address for it in the router. Jon... -
For future reference and clarification of Wait.. I have programs that run Wait 26 hours successfully. The only thing that halts wait from completion is re-evaluation of the conditions. What was happening in your original program is as there was a change in $sLuxCurrent_South >= 1500 and even though it was greater than 1500 (say 1550) there was a change in that value and the conditions were re-evaluated. Since the integer variable $ShadesMorningPaused was changed to =1 the conditions were no longer true and Wait terminated. I created a simple program you can observe this happen with. $s.Test is a state variable, $i.Test is an integer variable If you start the program off by changing $i.Test to 1 then change $s.Test to 5 the program will turn true and start to run Then. During the wait period if you change $i.Test to 0 then change $s.Test to 6 you can see the program turn false and wait terminates. If $s.Test >= 5 And $i.Test is 1 Then Wait 60 seconds Set 'Light' On Else Set 'Light' Off I hope this clarifies the issue you were having and puts a little light on usage of Wait. Glad to see you got it operating. Jon...

You might repost your edited program. As LeeG stated in post #3 you need to add the following to your program for it to have local dimming function. Your program should look like... Bath Room Light - [iD 0004][Parent 0001] If From 10:58:00PM To Sunrise - 1 hour and 30 minutes (next day) Then In Scene 'Bath Light Night' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 30% (On Level) In Scene 'Bath Light Night' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 2.0 Sec (Ramp Rate) In Scene 'Master Toilet Light' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 30% (On Level) In Scene 'Master Toilet Light' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 2.0 Sec (Ramp Rate) Else In Scene 'Bath Light Night' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 100% (On Level) In Scene 'Bath Light Night' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 0.3 Sec (Ramp Rate) In Scene 'Master Toilet Light' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 100% (On Level) In Scene 'Master Toilet Light' Set 'Master Toilet Light' 0.3 Sec (Ramp Rate) Jon...

You might open Event Viewer to Level 3, try and operate a few devices then copy to clipboard and paste trace into message post. A problem that sometimes isn't apparent is line noise which can come and go as the device or appliance turns on and off. Gas fired furnaces can be a problem, and a motor that's on the fritz can inflict line noise, LED's, CFL's, electronics and UPS are all issues that don't always present themselves. Jon...

You may have to clear your java cache and download the 4.2.30 UI on the Mac to successfully update the firmware on the remote system, In your situation you should access the remote system using the same UI version as the firmware version so if you don't update firmware you should install and uninstall different UI versions (which doesn't make sense.) Jon...

The firmware installed on the remote ISY apparently is 4.2.30 and the UI you're using to access ISY is 4.3.26. If you update the firmware on remote ISY to 4.3.26 all will be fine Jon...

And Status 'Kids Closet Sensor-Sensor' is Off <<-- Using status conditions for motion sensor is unreliable. better to use control I think I'd write the program If ( Control 'Kid's Closet' is switched On And Control 'Kids Closet Sensor-Sensor' is Not On ) Then Wait 15 seconds Set 'Kid's Closet' Off Jon...

"On commands Only" and "Only after Timeout" would help preserve battery life. Also, "Max Hops=3, Hops Left=1" indicates poor communication so signal from sensor may be unreliable. You might consider adding another dual-band device nearby in the future. Jon...

To capture trace from Event Viewer click on "copy to clipboard" icon lower toolbar and paste in message post. Set Event Viewer to Level 3, clear screen then activate motion sensor and copy trace. Jon...
