  1. Would you be so kind and refresh my memory how to get there? Currently I use either the local my lighting icon which is a 192. address, or external 207. address, and the Java Admin console which you provided in the beginning of this thread. I will log into the ISY using my external 207. address and report back.
  2. That would be both . . . There will be times when I attempt to turn on one single device via the scene pallet. One of several things will happen: - Device will turn on, as expected. But, turning it off will do nothing to the physical load. But, the ISY reports that the device has been turned off and you can see that the LED on the device is either been turned off or on. Yet the load stays at the previous state? - Device does not turn on. Then double tapping the ON button will turn on the load. Hitting the OFF button will either turn it off, or require a double tap. If it turns off (meaning the status does change) but the load does not turn off? - Using the Fast On / Fast Off - Appears to make the device(s) turn on and off as expected? I dunno why this is happening. But, will ask you a simple Q. Could a bad java cert cause this to happen?
  3. Yes I do. I also confirmed that the status changes when looking at the RL on the left side of the admin tree for that device only. When I view the status of the RL from the My Lighting it also shows the change of state immediately. In my eye's this is good news. Having the version number instead of a V0.0 is preferred than some random default V0.0 It works, so I'll take it LOL !!!
  4. I do not have any pending green icons waiting to be written at all. The devices in question are not linked to any programs waiting to be initiated. What I have observed: Prior to this update, the same individual device could be turned on / off on the painters pallet with out faulter. Now, the same device(s) do not respond consistently, or reliably. To me in my humble opinion is that the buttons have been mistakenly changed to require a double tap?
  5. Yes, I do see and receive confirmation on the ISY admin console when I activate a device / scene.
  6. I also have to affirm that doing what Brian H has outline has also given me a version number. While doing it the other way results in a V0.0 Mine is stated as V.35 just in case you needed to know. My remotelinc also works fine with out any problems.
  7. Michel, I am not sure if we are speaking about the same thing so I will try to clarify the problem I have observed. When I select a scene (painters pallet) within the left hand side ISY admin console. There are options to select on, fast on, off, fast off, etc depending upon the features that device has. Previously, when I pressed any of these buttons to view and watch the activation(s) of the grouped devices within the scene. The actuation of those device(s) were instantaneous and immediate. Also, the change of state was updated on the admin console immediately. Now, since the update the same scene even when I press it minutes apart will either operate fine, or the behavior of being forced to click on the ON button twice (double tap) or pressing the FAST ON, is the only way to turn the scene (devices) on / off. This behavior was not present before the update to .10 of the release. I hope this gives you a clearer explanation of what I see here.
  8. There is a problem when using the ISY doesn't seem to matter which web browser I use. Or how I log into the ISY. Using the link Michel supplied in the first page and also logging into my system via external link. There is either no response when pressing the on / off buttons in the scenes. Or you must double tap the on / off to make that device turn on / off. Strangely, using the fast on, fast off seems to make the device(s) activate. This problem was not present in .9 of the release. Hope this information proves helpful. EDIT: Has there been more information added to the e-mail notification? As I don't recall all of the extra bits of information being supplied before with such detail. Awesome !!! 'Entry Motion Light' scene set Status (On) by 'Motion Sensor-Sensor' at 2010/12/29 4:27:26 PM. ---------------------------------------- At: 2010/12/29 4:27:26 PM Program: Motion Entrance Network: Insteon Network Scene: Entry Motion Light Device: Motion Sensor-Sensor (XX XX XX 1) Action: Status Value: On
  9. I found this out as well during my re-install where it initially reported V0.0 for both the remotelinc & one icon switchlinc relay.
  10. Upgrade went fine here . . . Just in the middle of testing all scenes and also other attributes in my Insteon network.
  11. Just subscribing to this thread as I am considering this unit in the future. But ONLY if all the bugs have been worked out on these devices. Accurate and live Information is critical for me regarding the devices I will be tying into . . . Please keep us all updated to this new product . . .

    Scene Test Question

Just a follow up to my original Q. After reading another post from someone else my question has been answered. That being the other scene test options. This is not very clear as to how to initiate these other options. So for the next new user I hope this helps you out. Under the *Tools* tab at the top of the Admin console. Select Diagnostics > Select *Event Viewer* > Pick a scene or device at the left of the Admin console > Turn the scene or device on > You will now see *Events* as they transpire live through your Insteon network via the ISY. At this point you can also select the other options one at a time to display more information. I did not find this procedure documented anywhere or clearly written for the lay person. Hope this helps someone else later on . . .
  13. Sorry I should have been more clear. When you load the new firmware the previous selection to enable internet access is turned off. It is not disabled as such where you would not have that feature any longer. Simply go to the top left and select internet access and enable it back.
  14. Feed-back: To Michel Kohanim, and UDI Team, - The scene tests initiates the various scenes instantly. - The label under the dusk to dawn (sunset & sunrise) is perfect! Now the girl friend won't ask me what that means now! - I did not notice the lower left status flag before. But, the busy and ready flag is a great addition. - The new firmware disables the internet function upon loading. Just wanted everyone to be aware of this. Just incase you use it like I do to remotely connect to the ISY, and wonder why you can't now. - I don't know if the new version of this firmware has addressed prolonged login's so as it doesn't log a person off with out notification. But, I will be testing this for the next 5 days to see. I will ensure that any and all power save features are turned off to ensure that the network has not been turned off from sleep, hibernate, etc. As always, these small additions have continued to improve this incredible product which continues to lead the pack in terms of flexability, and power for the end user. Well done, and much thanks from the cold aszz north of the 51st state.

  16. I guess this isn't good?
  17. I have noticed that sometimes upon first login the current status of the devices is not displayed. The second attempt usually resolves this issue.
  18. Subscribed . . .
  19. Just Some Feed Back: 1. Love the new icons for sun and the moon. A icon makes it more user friendly for at a glance. Would it be possible to still add the text indicating the meaning in small print below it? 2. Scene Test: Who ever decided to make this change to first initiate the scene on then off. Thank you, as it makes it more fluid, and the human ergonomics expectation is met. 3. Configuration Tab: Once again proper placement for *at a glance* settings are nicely placed and positioned for the viewer to see with out going back and forth. Lesser used fields are placed lower in the viewer pane. Most excellent! 4. Its safe to say, its because of these continued additions and improvements during each firmware release. The open minded thought process of UDI and its members. This is what keeps this product at the forfront and number one in integration with all of our products. Well done & much thanks to all the UDI staff . . .
  20. Just purchased the application which brings you to the Google check out. I understand that you also need to send a e-mail to UDI informing them of the purchase so the buyer can enter this discount code prior to purchasing the network plug in. Now, after all that . . . Where does a person down load the latest version of this TouchSwitch software??
  21. MarkJames, If I had read this thread a year ago a lot of things would have been so much clearier !!! Much thanks for taking the time to share your personal experience and knowledge with us all . . .
  22. You Sir are a God send . . . Now this bathroom switchlinc timer operates like its suppose too! As always I thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with me . . .
  23. Mark, Could you help me with shutting off the KPL LED once my program is ended. If Status 'Exhaust Fan (Timed) ' is On And Status 'Entry KPL 8 - Foyer / Entry KPL - Fan' is On Then Wait 15 Min Set 'Exhaust Fan (Timed)' Off I am very new to this programming stuff and haven't gotten a hang of this quite yet.
  24. Brian H, Much thanks for that information. Now I will know this for future installs and be ready to do it this way.
