Hi hum099, You MUST use the username/password for ISY Portal and not your ISY. If the problem persists, please go to Help | About and make sure you do NOT Have MobiLinc Connect Module. If you do, please send your UUID to support@universal-devices.com and request for it to be deactivated. With kind regards, Michel

Hi topps, Unfortunately you cannot edit backup files since most INSTEON database files are binary. So very sorry. With kind regards, Michel

Hi jtara92101, I think the issue is that you are trying to save notes and they are not getting saved and thus you have zero length files. Most probably due to the same socket open errors and network related. With kind regards, Michel

Socket Open Failed java.net.SocketTimeoutException
Michel Kohanim replied to jtara92101's topic in ISY994
Hi jtara92101, Socket open failed happens when all ISY http tasks are busy. OR, if the admin console cannot find a path to ISY (this might happen on WiFi). With kind regards, Michel -
Hi DaveStLou, Definitely an oversight on our part. I do apologize. Maintenance notifications should be here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/18663-isy-portal-maintenance-04-10-2016/?do=findComment&comment=172976 With kind regards, Michel

Hi topps, I am so very sorry to hear. What you need to do is to find a good backup from before any of these things happening. Once you find a good backup, please restore and then follow these instructions: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Restore_Devices With kind regards, Michel

Hi hum099, How about a regular browser to https://my.isy.io? With kind regards, Michel
-
Hello all, Please do let me know whether or not you still have this issue. We did have a maintenance release but it shouldn't have caused these issues. With kind regards, Michel

Hi jtara92011, .PRP files are created when you right mouse click | Notes. You can delete them by telnet: RF /CONF/47.PRP With kind regards, Michel

Hi RLIKWARTZ, 1. At the bottom of the list in 5.0. branch 2. Storing the configuration in any other location requires permissions and will not work on all platforms. You can, however, change the Cache location in Java With kind regards, Michel

Hi Baja, It all depends on where in the process it stopped. RemoteLincs might have problems with new dual band devices including the PLM. The last time we had this issue we had to use an old access point and even then it took a few tries. With kind regards, Michel

Hi Scott, Definitely possible with Network Module. With kind regards, Michel

Hi hum099, As long as you have port forwarded to them, yes. With kind regards, Michel

Hi paulinlapine, Perhaps you have not setup the user/access code properly? Please make sure you follow the instructions fo "Configuring an Elk User with an access code to use from the ISY" in https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:ELK_Security_Module . With kind regards, Michel

Hi paulinalpine, Please use Event Viewer on Level 3, and make sure ISY is not complaining about an invalid access code. With kind regards, Michel

Hello everyone, It will be in the next 5.0.5 release. With kind regards, Michel

Cannot retrieve programs: Could no open config file to read
Michel Kohanim replied to DaveYHZ's topic in ISY994
Hi Dave, I am so very sorry to hear. Mine died 2 weeks ago ... quite painful. Once you get the new PLM, please DO MAKE SURE you follow the instructions here (especially those in red): http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:File_Menu#Replace_Modem_.28PLM.29 With kind regards, Michel -
Hi waffles, Ok, thank you. By LED lights you mean the backlight button on the KPLs? If so - in the last program, shouldn't Set Scene 'Misc / 8x KPL C Status' Off Be changed to: Set Scene 'Misc / 8x KPL C Status' On With kind regards,Michel

Hi jwbbucs, Thanks so very much for the feedback and I totally agree with the last comment vis-à-vis documentation and video. With kind regards, Michel

Hi TheWabit, Thank you. If you have reliable communications with it otherwise, AND if it's a SmartLabs thermostats (the ones with blue screens), it might be because it's not powered (it's on battery) or that it's not set in master mode (alas I do not remember how to put it back in master mode). With kind regards, Michel

Hi rafarataneneces, ZigBee SEP only communicates with Smart Meters installed by SCE. It does not communicate with ANY OTHER ZigBee devices. With kind regards, Michel

Hi waffles, I am not sure I understand why you are using programs to control your fans. You can simply use scenes. For instance: Fan Low Scene: 1. KPL 1 - Controller 2. KPL 2 - Controller 3. Fan - Low This scene makes sure that KPL buttons follow each other and that the Fan is set to Low when either is on and set to off when either is turned off. With kind regards, Michel
-
Hi rafarataneneces, I am not sure you understand the nature of ZigBee SEP. It has nothing to do with ZigBee devices. It only communicates with SmartMeters. With kind regards, Michel

TheWabit, Is this INSTEON? If so, how about the set point? What if you physically change the set point on the thermostat. Do you get status updates in the Admin Console? With kind regards, Michel
