  1. Hi Waketech, What does this question refer to? Gen 5 in ISY or support for Gen 5 devices (they should already be supported)? Or, Z-Wave plus certification? With kind regards, Michel

Hi Brian, Thank you. So, 1.C should be the hardware revision for 2413S. With kind regards, Michel

Hi BrianH, Have you seen 2.0 yet? With kind regards, Michel

Hello everyone, Not an update on UDI PLM but a noteworthy development nonetheless: 2413S with Revision 1.C has updated C7 and C13 capacitors ! With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Earlence, Please send your request to sales@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Earlence, i am sorry. I didn't read the request properly. Our internal representation is our trade secret and something that we would not be sharing. Sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Earlence, It's already in WSDK: https://www.universal-devices.com/isy-developers/ With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi earlenceferns, The question is a very odd as popularity is subjective: what market? OEM, home automation, energy management, dyi, commercial, residential, Zigbee, Z-Wave, INSTEON, X10, etc. And, compared to what? In what time frame? Which type of developers? As such, i am afraid I cannot really share with you the total number out there in a public forum without causing confusion. If you have specific application specific questions, you are welcome to send your questions to sale@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi jay5, Thank you. I shall try that. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello everyone, Just a little update: We have now gone through all Echo APIs and to our dismay, the only non-hacked way of supporting Echo is through the Cloud and our own Skillset without which we will have to use the Hue hack. Of course, it seems that Echo discovers Hue using UPnP/SSDP discovery. So, I suppose we can advertise ISY as a Hue gateway. I did try the Hue emulator but it didn't work on my Echo. So, can someone capture UDP (port 1900) and TCP (whatever port Hue/Emulator listens to) between Echo and the Emulator and send it to me? Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello xKing, Thanks so very much for sharing. May I include this in our Wiki? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Chris, If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, please revert to DHCP and retry. I suspect your new router does not like DHCP relay when you have a static IP address. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi kevman, I am so very sorry to hear. If there's no power light, then there's definitely something wrong with the unit. I am so very sorry. You might want to try a different power supply (5-30 volt, center positive). Again, I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi jimbarstow, ISY994-EMS is a DHCP offer name and might not be resolved to an IP address. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi jimbarstow, ISY994-EMS is the DHCP name for ISY and the associated local IP address. Again, I have to stress that you can NOT get to ISY using isy.universal-devices.com. That URL is only for downloading the applet/application and that's it. Nothing goes through isy.universal-devices.com . With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi jimbarstow, The http://isy.universal-devices.comURL is NOT the IP address of your ISY. The only thing it does is to bring up the Admin Console that searches your LOCAL network for ISY. ISY in no way shape or form accessible remotely (on the Internet) UNLESS: 1. You create port forwarding rules in your router 2. Use a portal solution such as MobiLinc With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi larryllix, Yes, it will try 3 times but not more. In 99.99% of the cases, this should be sufficient. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello smokegrub, Although Teken is correct, a non-responding PLM should NOT cause ISY not to respond. I think Teken's other suspicion is more valid: 1. ISY may not have had a static IP address or DHCP reservation and thus no longer on the same IP address 2. Your router got a new IP address from your ISP and thus no longer on the same IP address 3. If you used UPnP for port forwarding, the router lost the the mapping and ISY could not reconfigure it at boot up For my own home/office, I have a program called Boot up which sends me an email every time ISY is rebooted. If ISY is rebooted and I get the email, then I know the issue is IP address related. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi Rayzon, Thanks SO very much for your contribution! With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello everyone, Just a quick comment: 1. Added REST URL to get notes (/rest/nodes/ /notes) 2. Added element to the notes object: Mars Hello world this is you and I. {a,b}}}}}} true Hey Should be available in 4.3.9. Now, the main question is: how can we get Amazon to let us have our own app instead of all the acrobatics with Hue. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi kingwr, /rest/nodes//notes is added to REST in 4.3.9 (to be out shortly). Hi g1of4, unfortunately I really do not understand what you are referencing as everything should work as is. jruben4, beautiful on all levels! And, finally, we just got our account yesterday but, then again, I guess it's not a cause for celebration since so did everyone else! With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello all, Thanks so very much for all the feedback. I must agree with you all that hue emulator is probably the right way to go for now. Notes is not currently accessible via REST. But if this makes things easier it would be relatively easy to add it. Thanks again. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Randy, This is great news and yes, please! The only question is: does Lambda allow for username/password for ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi ferdies, Yes, please do make sure that you use the latest dashboard: http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/4.3.8/dashboard.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi tumba, Are you using State Variables (not integer). It would be great if you could post your program. With kind regards, Michel
