  1. Hi grant 33302, Failed Reset means that ISY was not able to communicate with the PLM. If you have a good backup, you might want to try the following: 1. Unplug the PLM, wait for 30 seconds 2. Press and hold the set button on the PLM while unplugged for 10 seconds … continue holding the set button on the PLM and then plug the PLM back in and while continuing to hold the set button on the PLM wait for another 10 seconds 3. Reboot ISY 4. Retry the File | Restore Modem If the above does not work, then try pushing up the pins inside the RJ45 on the PLM (perhaps they are not making good contact), plug the cable back in and reboot ISY. If neither of the above works OR the LED on the PLM is not lit, then, unfortunately you have a defective PLM. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Alan, In addition to invaluable feedback from LeeG, it might be related to the firewall on your computer. Please consult this post: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Help#Userid.2FPassword_dialog_keeps_popping_up With kind regards, Michel

Hi zerop, It seems that the program is working for the morning. Is it possible that your thermostat has schedules? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi bdw72, It should be ON and stay ON when ISY hears the first heartbeat. If it's off and your ISY has been on for more than 24 hours, then this sensor is either not sending heartbeat or there's signal issue. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Todd C, Paul is very much correct. Please take a look at this article: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Troubleshooting_Help#Userid.2FPassword_dialog_keeps_popping_up With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi zerop, Those in addition to the drop down on Email Customization are pretty much it. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi Alex, Unfortunately not in 4.3.x and we are working on it for 5.x. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Drew, If you are not getting status updates from any of your devices, please take a look at: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=INSTEON_No_Status_Feedback_From_Devices With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi brianp6621, Open the Event Viewer, change the level to 3. Make sure heal completes (without failure) for each device. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Sagi, Thanks so very much. I just sent an email. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello everyone, I must stress that there are a few steps that have to be followed for range extenders to work with door locks the most important of which are: 1. Include the range extender when close to ISY 2. Move the range extender to its destination location and do a Heal Network 3. Repeat 1 & 2 till such time that Heal Network works for ALL range extenders and door locks With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello everyone: This is absolutely incorrect. Please review this article: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Z-Wave:_Configuring_Range_Extenders_and_Door_Locks In short, range extenders must be included when close to ISY, then move to the destination and then a Heal Network. This has been proven to work 100s of times. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi kingwr, Yes, we have. The main issue is that we have not been given any APIs/documentation on: 1. How to register a service with credentials (for ISY) 2. How to tie an Echo user to the service in #1 With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Earlence, Not through REST. GetAllD2D in SOAP. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi metal450, Can you please send your error log to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi metal450, Did you change anything else in the security settings? http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/ISY994%20Series%20Network%20Security%20Guide.pdf If so, what? Can you access ISY using MobiLinc on the http port? With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi lotsofdevs, You need to use the updated UI/Admin Console: 1. Clear your Java cache: https://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml 2. Go to http://isy.universal-devices.com/994i/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel

  19. Hi ingeborgdot, I am so very sorry but as LeeG correctly pointed out, ISY99 only supports SSL and SSL has been disabled by almost everything out there. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi metal450, 4.3.10 is an RC and should be extremely safe and robust. This said, it's still an RC and not an official release. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi metal450, Please upgrade to 4.3.10 and either use 1024 or 2048 bit certificate. TLS performance has improved dramatically in 4.3.10. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi zerop, It depends on the number of seconds between the two events. ISY tries 3 times (a maximum of 20 seconds) to connect to the PLM on boot up. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi zerop, It's really up to you. In the past 9 years, there has perhaps been a maximum of 10 (out of 10s of thousands) of ISYs that were impacted by a power surge/outage. With kind regards, Michel

Hi BrianH, got it, thank you. This is exciting! With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi earlence, Above and beyond what's documented in WSDK/Section 7.0, we don't really have an XML schema since the permutations are just too huge to be able to capture all. With kind regards, Michel
