  1. Hi Brian, Unfortunately not at the moment. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello wrj0, As far as I know humidity reporting is disabled by default. And, you cannot set this setting if you have a thermostat without a sensor. And, finally, there's a known issue with the current thermostat firmware to report humidity x 2. With kind regards, Michel
  3. wrj0, Known issue with the current thermostat firmware version: humidity reporting has to be explicitly set. We are adding support for this command in the next release. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Greg, That's quite possible. I am going to forward this post to our reps at SmartHome. Thanks so very much! With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Candide, Those errors are for X10 devices and a bug which shall be fixed shortly. nstein, From which version did you upgrade? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello H2R, This should also be fixed once we start playing with the unit. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello mohansen, Thanks so very much for the log. I noticed a lot of DNS error but I am not sure why that would cause a system hang. I do not think it's ELK related. I sent you an email with more questions. Again, sincere apologies for this problem. Hi polexian, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Greg, Thank you. Just got one of those thermostats and will try to duplicate and provide feedback . With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Tim, Query is done after programs have been initialized As soon as the network is up but it depends on what DSCLink/WCLink is trying to do. The steps have not changed but some of the priorities have changed to improve SSL2048 bit performance. What behavior are you seeing? With kind regards,
  10. Hi tome, This is a previous error ... it simply means that someone tried to login but failed. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello mohansen, Sincere apologies for tardy reply ... was trying to reproduce alas failed. Can you please let me know whether or not other ISY programs were running? I assume you didn't have regular browser access to ISY either, is that correct? Would you be kind enough to send me your error log to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi jsp, Yes, precisely so that you can see status on ELK Touchscreen and other clients. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello robandcathy, Those are mostly OEM/Utilities and we do not have them for retail. In certain cases, if you would like to use Brultech Energy monitors using native Zigbee, you can send an email to sales@universal-devices.com and we'll see whether or not we can accommodate. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Clarence, This means that there are pending device updates that ISY has tried programming into the device but has failed. Please right mouse click on the green 0101 icon and then choose Write updates to device. If that fails, then you have communications issues with that device. With kind regards, Michel

Hello Clarence, All the features available in 2.8.16 are still available in 3.1.6 and thus you do not have to upgrade to use the newest Venstar dongles/thermostats. To answer your questions: Yes. No. Everything you can see on the Admin Console can be changed remotely With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi jsp, There's an option flag in ELK which lets it know what to do with received data (from ISY). Without the option - and in some cases, ELK simply returns it back to ISY as a command and thus you will see lights intermittently turn on/off. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello RBC, You must type http://your.isy.ip.address/admin to go directly to the Admin Console. Otherwise, you will have to do double logon (one for HTML and one for the Admin Console). With kind regards, Michel
  18. Thanks so very much IM. The i2 support for ICON was a different issue: 1. i2 as data transfer mode ... for this ISY fails since ICON returns an address which ISY does not expect 2. i2 as command mode ... we could not support this since during initialization, #1 failed So, in essence, we have now added an exception for ICON dimmers such that regardless of 1, ISY will always try i2 commands for backlight and other features. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello johnnyt, Have you considered using http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/[version]/admin.jnlp instead? This will install an icon on your desktop and thus you will not need a browser. Furthermore, this link searches for ISY on the network so even if your IP changes, this will find it. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello jsp, Yes, you will have to update the option field in ELK lighting configuration otherwise you will see intermittent operation of lights. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi IM, Thanks so very much. I totally understand that the Admin Console must figure out the database size automatically but, if you don't mind, I would like to leave this as a very low priority since there's a workaround. Please advise. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello IM, Can you do me a favor? Would you please use the Tools | Diagnostics menu item to retry and then choose your begin/end address (check the box next to the address). I tried this with one of our I2 devices and it seems to work fine. This said, unfortunately I do not have any Icons to test with. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Bruce, Thank you. Polling interval means the duration in time between requests to WB. 60 seconds is default and I do not think your ISP would mind 60 seconds. But, anything below that will have two side effects: 1. WB service might consider you a hacker and then block traffic from your ISY 2. Your ISP might consider you a hacker and then block traffic from your ISY With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello Illusion, Unfortunately unlike V2 thermostats, V1 thermostats do NOT report the correct status of FAN (there's no way to query them either) especially if you change them on the thermostat itself. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Illusion, As long as they are not of a different type (i.e. Dimmer vs. KPL or Dimmer vs. Relay), then the answer is yes. With kind regards, Michel
