  1. Hi Tim, We admit defeat: We had a requirement to provide the correct status for button groupings and mutex buttons. The only way we could accomplish this was to use the abstract concept of a scene. As such, you can now do button groupings using scenes but this would break the mutex groupings without scenes (as you noted). Therefore, we have decided to leave both methods intact with the caveat that if you use manual grouping (not in scenes) you will not have the correct status. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Bobby, Thank you! -5011 means that ISY tried to contact the client (Admin Console) and failed. My recommendations: 1. Please do ensure that ISY is in the white/trusted list on your Avast (this has been reported before with the same symptoms) 2. Please do be kind enough to upgrade to 2.7.12 With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi huddadudda, This was done only because you requested it ... since they are two different types of devices there might be some issues that we are not aware of. As such, would you be kind enough to test and let us know what you find? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Raman, Thanks so very much for the feedback. Verified that this is indeed a bug and an action was taken to fix this immediately. The fix should be available in our next release. With kind regards, Michel

Hi guys, Apologies for the inconvenience: that was an oversight on our part and has already been fixed. If you cannot wait for the next release, simply use the following URL: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.12 OR http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.12/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Mark, Good question! The answer is: it all depends on the version of your ISY's firmware. Here's the structure of the URLs on our website: http://www.universal-devices.com/platform/[firmware_version] 1. platform is mandatory ... so, /99i will always have the last official release of the Admin Console 2. firmware_version is optional .. so, /99i/2.7.12 points to the Admin Console for firmware 2.7.12 So, if your ISY's firmware is equal to the [firmware_version] in the above URL, then there's absolutely no difference between pointing your browser to ISY or going to our website, except for: The Admin Console from our website "searches" the network for your ISY (so this is good if you have forgotten your ISY's IP address), whereas the Admin Console from ISY already "knows" where ISY is. With kind regards, Michel W
  7. Hi Denis, I think the problem is the SD Card itself. Please do ensure that the SD Card is seated properly. If that fails, we do need a new SD Card and your backup. I already sent you an email. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello, You need to ask if they offer any Demand Response programs. And, if so, what system do they use. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello ingeborgdot, Some utilities also provide Open Auto Demand Response solutions which ISY supports. Flex Your Power is CA only ... I totally agree ... you should have never been sent a used unit. Please do let us know if you need our assistance in getting it replaced. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi upstatemike, What happens if you go to Tools | Diagnostics | Show ISY Links table for that device? Do you get anything? If not, then the problem is that: a. There are pending device writes for that device b. The configuration file for that device is missing or is corrupt With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi bkpky, 1. Wait is interrupted when the condition turns to false. So, while waiting and if the conditions is turned to false, the statements following wait will not run 2. Please do be kind enough to use the correct URL for 2.7.12: http://your.isy.ip.address/admin http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.12/ http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.12/admin.jnlp Any of the above URLs should detect your dual band lamplinc. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi wacvmd, Please do call our tech support team at 818-631-0333 between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. We'll remotely login to your computer and see what's causing the issues. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Brian, Thanks so very much for the update. There could be two things which would cause this: 1. HTTP timeout was way too low in our previous firmware versions and that, in combination with firewall software, would cause issues 2. ZoneAlarm itself ... but, if you can save programs that I do not think that is the issue With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi upstatemike, Before doing any of that, would you be kind enough to do a compare between ISY and Device Link tables for both the RL and the device? If there are mismatches, it would be best to first do a restore before attempting more intrusive things. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Candide, thanks so very much for the update. Hi Tim, please do note the following: After all the files have been uploaded, it would take at least one minute for ISY to actually install the firmware and reboot. During this time, you will get Power, RX, and TX solid on and you cannot access ISY. Please also note that if you unplug or reset ISY during this time, your ISY could become inoperable. Would you be kind enough to retry and let me know if you still have the same issue? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi upstatemike, I got your logs and it seems that ISY is trying to write to that device but it fails. Do you have a green 0101 icon for your LL? Do you have the same issue for all the scenes for which this LL is a responder or is it only one scene? If one scene, may I humbly request that you remove it from the scene and add it back in? With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi robandcathy, That's quite odd ... if you didn't get any errors, they should have been added. Would you please click on the Network node and look at the list of devices you have? If you do not have them listed, would you be kind enough to retry and this time use Event Viewer on Level 3 and send us the log (support@universal-devices.com). With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi stevehoyt, Thanks so very much. It seems that the Admin Console is not getting the heartbeat message before it times out. We'll check into it. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi upstatemike, Those errors are unrelated and have to do with Flex Your Power and Auto Open ADR not being configured properly. In short, you have no errors. Would you be kind enough to send the following to tech@unviersal-devices.com: 1. Event Viewer log on level 3 2. Try adjusting the Ramp Rate And, please do ensure that you are using the correct URL. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi wacvmd, What URL are you using? Would you be kind enough to: 1. Clear your Java cache 2. Use any of the following URLs: http://your.isy.ip.address http://your.isy.ip.address/jnlp http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.11 http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.11/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  21. Michel Kohanim replied to grossmd's topic in ISY994
Hi grossmd, Excellent. What you need to do is: 1. Assign a static IP address for your ISY (Configuration/System tab) 2. Make sure the static IP address for your ISY is not in the DHCP range for your router 3. Have your router forwarded to the address set in 2 4. Get a free dynamic dns account such as DynDNS.com, ods.org, etc. (one that your router supports) and configure your router with it. In short, we are making your router accessible via a name (dynamic dns) rather than an IP. So, even if your IP changes, you can access your system because dyn dns takes care of mapping between IP and name. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi all, Thanks so very much for your patience. If you would like to try 2.7.12 BETA, please do be kind enough to register at http://eepurl.com/ha4Z . For a list of fixes in 2.7.12, please checkout this post: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930 And, finally, general operations instructions: Instructions for 2.7.8 through 2.7.12 can be found here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... hp?p=27368 With kind regards, Michel
  23. Michel Kohanim replied to grossmd's topic in ISY994
Hello Arthur, As Mark suggested in great detail, you should be using the external IP address (you can usually find this under the status tab in your router's admin pages). Unlike Mark, I would have to totally discourage you from opening port 80 simply because all the traffic between you and ISY will be clear text and thus anyone could sniff/replay and even capture your credentials. Please do stick with port 443. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi ingeborgdot, Please note that the userid/password are case sensitive and the defaults are admin/admin. Would you be kind enough to try and reset your credentials: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... d/Password Please do keep us posted. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Jeff/Rob, If you are having "unsupported device" then you will have to remove and re-add them in 2.7.12 since ISY adds unknown devices as responders only. As far as not getting status updates back in ISY, that seems to be a major issue. Would it be at all possible to move them closer to the PLM just to test? With kind regards, Michel
