  1. Hi drw, Thanks for the update. This might also be related to issues with HTTPS and versions below 2.7.7. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi, Thanks. Please do make sure to reset all parental controls and ensure that ISY is not listed in the devices which are restricted from accessing the Internet. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi murrolems, I was just trying to figure out if there was any common devices between the scenarios where ISY cannot get to the outside world. And, yes, it does include getting to Verizon's SMTP servers as well. Did you try checking the Parental Control? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Steve, How about Java cache? Has it been cleared? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi stevehoyt, As AnthemAVM suggested, it might be your firewall software (although we have found TrendMicro to be the least intrusive of firewalls). Also, you might want to make sure you have cleared your Java cache and that you are using the correct URL for accessing your ISY (if you are going through our website). With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Mark: No it is not. Yes. No. ISY is not affected at all UNLESS you use "Import/Install options" ... Yes and the client only memorizes the last one. As such, if you issue CSRs, you will have errors if you try to import the certificate for the former. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi mitch236, As markens suggested, we do not support client certificates and have no plans on doing so. So, you would still have to manage userid/password. Please try another self signed certificate. To do so: 1. ensure you have 2.7.11 2. go to https://www.universal-devices.com/ssl/insteon With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi again, Unfortunately we have not yet found any solution whatsoever for this issue. We do have 1000s of customers on Verizon FIOS and without any issues except for 3 cases (including yours). Would you be kind enough to let me know what else you have connected to your network? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello murrolems, I do apologize for the inconvenience. If you have Verizon Fios with an ActionTec router, then you are one of the few where, for some reason, ISY is not given access to the outside world. We are trying to resolve this issue as we speak but it's quite difficult to find someone knowledgeable at Verizon. In one case, the parental controls were applied to ISY and that's why ISY could not get to the outside world. But, in 2 other cases, no matter what we tried, we could not figure out what's causing the problem. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello RLIKWARTZ, I will do further testing ... please note that folders do not have to have unique names. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi wwat, The problem is how you added them to ISY. If you did not use Auto Discover, then ISY would not have a clue as to what the version number is (and thus 00). With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello intellihome, Although I understand your frustrations (I would've been even more) but I must say that amongst all the other protocols out there, INSTEON is much more reliable ... but, then again, that comes from my development experiences using others. The most important thing is to make sure the load for those devices are not causing noise AND that you do not have a mixture of SignaLincs and Access Points. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Mark, I am so terribly sorry .. This utility should work fine on 2.7.7> version >= 2.7.10. So, 2.7.7, 8, and 9 (alpha) will not work. I can surely get the library back from CVS and make a special URL for you. Or, if you have an old UD.DCF (if you saved it) you can use the last menu option to reinstall it. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Mark, 2.7.11 restores button toggle modes, button groupings, and mutex buttons. This said, however, depending on which firmware you used to create your scenes, there might be some issues. ISY does not and cannot restore an 8 button to 6 button and vice versa. ISY assumes your buttons configurations are as they were. With kind regards, Michel
  15. AnthemAVM, Thanks so very much. Found it and fixed it (the dim/bright button on the TriggerLinc page). huddadudda, Scene tests are simply sending a signal and waiting for responses back. That part of the code has not changed for almost 2 years. So, I can guarantee you the problem is not ISY. I can also tell you that in 99% of the cases (do a quick search on SWL v35) with the symptoms you are experiencing, SWL 35s are the culprit. It may be one or two of them wreaking havoc on your INSTEON network but I am almost certain that's where the problem is. I am so very sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news. If you wish to downgrade to 2.7.6, install 2.7.6 and then restore your backup for 2.7.6. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Intellihome, I seriously think that you have some communication issues with those devices that have the green icons. Are there any other odd behaviors with those switches? With kind regards, Michel
  17. Mark, Thanks so very much for testing and apologies for killing your HTTPS. The problem is that we had to change the format of our certificate so, you will have to have 2.7.10 or 2.7.11 (if you are on any other beta) for this to work. Once you upgrade to 2.7.11, everything will work fine. 1. The alternate name has been removed 2. Regions of Bouncy Castle - unlike their name - is the most widely used encryption library out there. We use it as is 3. Yes, we expect PEM formatted signed certificate Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello all, I just wanted to let you know that we have implemented CA certificates and need your help with testing. Our test with CACert.org worked perfectly but have not gone beyond that. To test: 1. Please go to https://www.universal-devices.com/ssl/insteon 2. Login 3. From the menu, choose Generate Certificate Request to CA 4. Copy the contents in 3 to the clipboard and send it to your CA 5. Once you have your CA signed certificate: a. Copy the certificate to clipboard b. Go to Receive Certificate from CA and Install c. Click on Paste from Clipboard d. Click on OK ... e. IMPORTANT: When prompted to save the certificate - and if you so choose - save your certificate in a safe place Looking forward to your feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi intellihome, Do yo have PRO series? With kind regards, Michel
  20. huddadudda That explains all the intermittent scene issues you've been experiencing. Perhaps not all your SWL v35s have the same issue but, unfortunately so, it's very difficult to figure out which one does and which one does not. SmartHome is pretty good at replacing them. RLIKWARTZ Are you sure you are using the latest version of Admin Console client? In releases prior to 2.7.8, folders could only be added at top level and not right under another folder. robandcathy As you may have noticed, I do have a set of basic questions (like a robot) that I go through When we deal with device communications, the main issues are either noise in which case CFL, Low Voltage Transformers, un-bridged phases, and defect devices play important roles. In short, to isolate the problem, we first have to figure out if indeed the CFL load is NOT the problem and then we can move on to the my next set of questions! AnthemAVM Great and thanks so very much for the update. The one I have has a little green LED inside. Where do you see on level and ramp rate? ------------------------- With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello all, Apologies for a collective response. DADsHome, It seems that your router already has this enabled. In most cases, rebooting the router would fix the problem UNLESS you have another device that is using the same port. robandcathy, I would not worry about /conf/web.cfg. Please try factory resetting the problematic device and retry. Also, please make sure that the load for this device is not a CFL or low voltage transformer. huddadudda, Would you please check and see how many SWL v35s you have? As far s the menu not appearing, this was supposed to be fixed in 2.7.11 ... can you please try clearing your Java cache? Also, please do ensure that you use the correct URL. Unfortunately, INSTEON group commands do not support changing the on level/ramp rates for scenes. As such, you will have to do them individually. RLIKWARTZ Yes, added to the list. The limit on folders depends on the model you have. 99i Series supports up to 255 folders, scenes, and devices (buttons). PRO supports up to 1024 scenes, folders, and devices (buttons). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Gary, We are working on it. The main issue has been adding variable (place holders) for what should go in the message body. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello mhornak, What I would do is to have two programs: 1. One for sunset devices (regardless of the time) 2. One with the following condition Time is Sunset AND From 6:00 PM To 12:00 AM next day With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi RLIKWARTZ, Currently no ... we decided to leave it in for now. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi intellihome, All you have to do is: 1. Remove your KPLs from ISY ... you don't have to touch any scenes since ISY removes them for you 2. Factory reset your KPL 3. Add them back in Do not touch your programs since they work based on INSTEON address. As such, when you add your KPLs back, they should start working again. With kind regards, Michel
