Lamplinc in scene, missed signals
Also, if your controllers are SwitchLincs v.35, you might have gotten some units from the batch which exhibited signal issues. With kind regards, Michel

Scenes vs. Programs
Hi, You would have to adjust the sliders for each controller in that scene. Controllers are in red. Alternatively, you can adjust everything at the scene level and then copy the attributes to each controller. In short, for what you need to do, you should use scenes and NOT programs. You might find more useful information here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ide#Scenes With kind regards, Michel

Unable to open .jnlp file on XP
Hi ryarber, JNLP requires WebStart ... in most cases, WebStart is installed with your Java. I am just not sure how Parallel works to be able to give you more information and how file associations are set up. With kind regards, Michel

What's in the next release (2.8.16)
Hi Paul, yes. In short, you would have to unlink them manually then the same nodes should be able to be linked again and reused. I have added a request to remove individual nodes from such devices. With kind regards, Michel

Which I/O modules work with Isy-99?
Hi helipal, Thanks so very much for your words of encouragement! They mean a lot. 1. Unfortunately SH is the only place where you can buy the IOLincs 2. Yes, you can use T1800 in combination with ISY v.27.9 and above to receive humidity and local temperature with ISY With kind regards, Michel

ISY and Elk integration - having problems
Hi all, There seems to be a bug where adding the security code in the configuration causes a crash. Please do not use the security code in the configuration page since it really does not provide any function yet. With kind regards, Michel

Disable a device versus remove
Hi intellihome, Thanks so very much! I would very much appreciate it if you could keep us posted with your experimentation. It's very important for all of us to figure out the impact of these thermostats in real environments. With kind regards, Michel

What's in the next release (2.8.16)
Hi Paul, I do not think so unless you have unlinked them from your PLM. With kind regards, Michel

What's in the next release (2.8.16)
Hello Paul, Unfortunately, currently removing a device with associated devices deletes them all. Perhaps we could add a feature to remove only the selected node but ONLY in the case of devices not including KPL, RL, CL, and V2 thermostats. With kind regards, Michel

Disable a device versus remove
Hi intellihome, Disabling the device does not prevent it from sending updates to its slave (in this case the PLM). If the thermostat adapter is causing so much issues, you will have to completely remove it from ISY. I have two of these thermostats and although they keep sending updates, I have not noticed a lot of communication issues. What type of communication issues are you experiencing? I seriously doubt that SH is going to have a new firmware any time soon. With kind regards, Michel

An Inconvenience But Could be an Issue
Hello again, Yes, this does make sense. It means that the client code was not found. Would you be kind enough to let me know which URL you use? Is it possible that that your upgrade never completed? With kind regards, Michel

2.7.8/9 Instructions
Hi to both, Yes, it is an INSTEON traffic and yes it might have some impact on performance. Unfortunately, ISY cannot query the thermostat to see whether or not it has the humidity sensor. Apparently, neither does the dongle. With kind regards, Michel

Programing Folders (Dusk / Dawn)
Hello jjwrecker, You are right ... if the folder condition turns false then nothing in that folder is going to run. So, you might want to have two folders one for Dusk/Dawn and one for Dawn/Dusk. Furthermore, programs with no conditions are evaluated to false. So, what you want to do is to add a schedule From/To today to next day at the same time. This program is always true. With kind regards, Michel

ISY and Elk integration - having problems
Hi theedudenator, Please do not use port 2106 as ISY does not work with it. Also, please ensure that your M1XEP has a static IP address otherwise ISY might lose connections with it. With kind regards, Michel

Now What Happened???????
Hi, I would not worry about the file open errors. The 50xx errors are related to you not being able to load the Admin Console all the time. The issues are mostly related to firewall software and Java Cache. If you are still having issues, please do be kind enough to contact our tech support so that we can login and see what's going on. If you have had router issues, it would be great if you could reboot your router and let us know if that solves the problems. With kind regards, Michel

HTTPS access to ISY through Airport Extreme
Hi flynifr, There's an issue with MAC/Java/Crypto library which causes the certificates to be created with invalid information. We are looking into it as we speak. If you have a PC, please give that a try and it should be fixed. With kind regards, Michel

2.7.8/9 Instructions
Hi all, The reason you do not see it in 2.7.7 is because ISY was not equipped with COS (change of state) updates from thermostats. That feature is only available in 2.7.8 and above. I have already sent an email to SH with a link to post by rlebel. With kind regards, Michel

An Inconvenience But Could be an Issue
Hi to both, There are two issues at hand here: 1. Firewall ... please let me know what firewall software you have so that I can look into it 2. Java cache ... if your system is still using the old client, you will have many unexplained behavior. As such, please ensure that you have cleared your Java cache With kind regards, Michel
