  1. MarkJames, I am so very sorry for the troubles. I think we are dealing with many issues here: 1. The difference between restore and replace 2. Changing the configuration between 6 and 8 button 3. Combination of 2 followed by 1 Unlike other solutions, ISY maintains a visual linkage between the buttons, the link records, and everything else there is to know about these devices. Button Toggle configuration (memory locations) is different for 6 and 8 buttons as well as button groupings. As such, if you replace an 6 button with 8 button KPL (and the other way around), you are bound to have many issues. This said, however, the link records should be restored properly. Now, are you saying that when you do a restore on this specific KPL and when you do a compare, there are many mismatches? If so, this is indeed a problem which is quite serious and should be looked at more thoroughly. As such, would you be kind enough to let me know which firmware version you are using? With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi all, The issue with Motion Sensor (most i2 devices) have been verified and is now fixed in 2.7.11. The issue with EZX10RF is still under investigation. The issue with right mouse clicking a selection has been verified and shall be fixed. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi tandar, It seems as if ISY cannot get to the Internet. Do you see a red exclamation mark in the config tab for NTP server? If so: 1. does your ISY have a static IP address? 2. can you send emails from your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi AnthemAVM, Do you still get the blinking KPL button? I think it would be much easier for us to get to your computer and see what is going on. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi wwat, Unfortunately there are no logs. The setpoints must be reported by the thermostat or queried. I am suspecting that all these issues are related to Program Heat/Cool mode. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello JBNY, I am so very sorry to hear this. This might be due to the system trying to synch up all devices with ISY. If you have not restored your 2.7.7 backup yet, please do try it. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi ergodic, Yes, you can but if you have not made major changes to your system, I advise against it. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi upstatemike, this might be due to the level of ISY firmware you have. In the code, this is supported in 2.7.9 and 10. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi geogecko, I think the problem is actual communications between the KPL and your devices. How many of your devices in this scene are SWL 35s? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi ergodic, First of all, you do have the right to complain ... this must have been quite an experience. I think the best way to go about this is: 1. Upgrade to 2.7.10 2. Restore your backup from 2.7.6/7 3. Click on the Battery button (the last button on the Admin Console) so that it's grayed out (this makes the operations manual for battery operated devices) 4. Do File | Restore Devices (this will automatically do a Restore PLM for you) 5. When you are done, click on the Battery button again so that ISY starts restoring battery devices one at a time (you will see an indication of which one is being done) With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi upstatemike, Can you tell me the exact description of your old lamplinc? Just rechecked and it should be supported. With kind regards, Michel It depends on the lamp
  12. Hi ergodic, I am so very sorry that you had to go through all this trouble. It must have been quite disheartening. I agree with you that 2.7.9 might have been the problem. As far as RL/MS, you now have a choice to do them separately (the button right next to the batch mode is for battery operated devices). Please do give that a try. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi rlav, Yes, it's best to try 2.7.10 and keep us posted. Apologies for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Rob, yes. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi ergodic, I am so very sorry to hear this. I can think of two reasons: 1. 2.7.9's bug ... now that 2.7.10 is out, you might want to try 2.7.10, restore your 2.7.7 backup, and retry 2. But, before doing that, please go to Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table ... if you see nothing, then, in all likelihood you have a defective PLM With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi ergodic, The 1011 icon means that there are PENDING writes for the device. That icon stays there till ISY writes all the pending info into the device. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi all, Thanks so very much for your patience. If you would like to try 2.7.10 ALPHA, please do be kind enough to register at http://eepurl.com/ha4Z . For a list of fixes in 2.7.10, please checkout this post: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930 And, finally, general operations instructions: Instructions for 2.7.8/9 can be found here: http://forum.universal-devices.com/view ... hp?p=27368 With kind regards, Michel
  18. jdale, This is wonderful. Would you mind if we put a link to it in our Wiki? Thanks so very much! With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi RLav, Would you be kind enough to be more specific? Are you saying that every time the state of that device changes to on it goes back to off (or vice versa)? With kind regards, Michel
  20. ergodic, This is a feature . Here's the reason: In 2.7.9 and above (in PRO), there a feature called Batch mode. Batch mode basically lets you do everything offline and then have ISY push it out for you. ISY maintains the history of all the bits/bytes that could not be written and will retry them ANY TIME you click on the batch button again. So, in short, ISY has a hard time communicating with E 72 25 1 and it keeps retrying every time you are not in batch mode. In non-PRO versions, this is done every time there's a change to any other device. If you really don't want ISY to keep trying, simply disable the device. The bottom line is: your whole network should be in synch with ISY. If not, ISY keeps trying unless you advise it otherwise (by disabling the device). With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi Mark, Yes indeed this is the case: you cannot remove a disabled device. As far as the other issue, yes, it does seem like a bug. Would you be kind enough to keep an eye on it and let us know when/if you have more information? With kind regards, Michel

Hi aanthony, Thanks. If you want to make it 100% clean then it would be best to also factory reset your devices. With kind regards, Michel

Hi oktane, Yes, took the logs and went through every possible scenario to duplicate alas without success. What I am thinking currently is that we tested using our latest code which has many bug fixes and I am hoping that this is the reason for our lack of success in duplicating the issue. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi robfitz, Apologies for being vague. Yes, the number is the one reported by ISY's Admin Console. The numbers are in hex so, 29 Incidentally 29 on ISY = 1.4 label on the KPL. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi jkraus, I am with oberkc here ... the first thing I would do is to make sure your scenes work. Secondly, I would look for all programs that do something to garage lights. With kind regards, Michel
