  1. Hi intellihome, Disabling the device does not prevent it from sending updates to its slave (in this case the PLM). If the thermostat adapter is causing so much issues, you will have to completely remove it from ISY. I have two of these thermostats and although they keep sending updates, I have not noticed a lot of communication issues. What type of communication issues are you experiencing? I seriously doubt that SH is going to have a new firmware any time soon. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi NewTech, If you are available now (8:32 PM PST), please send an email to tech@universal-devices.com and I'll login to see what is going on. Otherwise, please do contact our tech support and we'll try to upgrade you remotely. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello again, Yes, this does make sense. It means that the client code was not found. Would you be kind enough to let me know which URL you use? Is it possible that that your upgrade never completed? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi to both, Yes, it is an INSTEON traffic and yes it might have some impact on performance. Unfortunately, ISY cannot query the thermostat to see whether or not it has the humidity sensor. Apparently, neither does the dongle. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello jjwrecker, You are right ... if the folder condition turns false then nothing in that folder is going to run. So, you might want to have two folders one for Dusk/Dawn and one for Dawn/Dusk. Furthermore, programs with no conditions are evaluated to false. So, what you want to do is to add a schedule From/To today to next day at the same time. This program is always true. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi theedudenator, Please do not use port 2106 as ISY does not work with it. Also, please ensure that your M1XEP has a static IP address otherwise ISY might lose connections with it. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi pacificsloop, Are you available now? If so, please send an email to tech@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  8. CJVann, Please clear you Java cache (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache) and then go to: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/2.7.8/admin.jnlp OR http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp OR http://isy/admin.jnlp (PC only) With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi wwat, Please post your program here. We'll take a look. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi, I would not worry about the file open errors. The 50xx errors are related to you not being able to load the Admin Console all the time. The issues are mostly related to firewall software and Java Cache. If you are still having issues, please do be kind enough to contact our tech support so that we can login and see what's going on. If you have had router issues, it would be great if you could reboot your router and let us know if that solves the problems. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi flynifr, There's an issue with MAC/Java/Crypto library which causes the certificates to be created with invalid information. We are looking into it as we speak. If you have a PC, please give that a try and it should be fixed. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi all, The reason you do not see it in 2.7.7 is because ISY was not equipped with COS (change of state) updates from thermostats. That feature is only available in 2.7.8 and above. I have already sent an email to SH with a link to post by rlebel. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi to both, There are two issues at hand here: 1. Firewall ... please let me know what firewall software you have so that I can look into it 2. Java cache ... if your system is still using the old client, you will have many unexplained behavior. As such, please ensure that you have cleared your Java cache With kind regards, Michel
  14. jcip, Please do the following: 1. Ensure your firewall is not blocking ISY ( http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewforum.php?f=3 ) 2. Ensure that you have a good connection (especially if WiFi) 3. Reboot your ISY 4. Retry With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello richard|007, Please try using your latitude and longitude directly instead of using the region. This will give you much more accurate sunrise/sunset times for your specific location. To do so: 1. Go to Configuration Tab | System 2. Click on Change Location and enter your own latitude and longitude With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi pacificsloop, Please contact our tech support so that we can login to your system and see what's going on. In the meantime, can post back what ISY reports this device to be + the numbers after v. in the Admin Console. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi dougos2, would you be kind enough to describe what you mean. Even though small, we would like to fix it if possible. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi wwat, Yes, the condition could be Every day from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM next day. This is always true. I like folders because they organize things nicely. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi endiablado, Ah ... I am so very sorry. The only way you can recover from a factory reset is restore. You can have ISY crawl your INSTEON network but, in my view, it would take much longer than doing it manually. Especially if you have 2.7.9 and PRO series in which case you can use the batch mode. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Ron, Yes, absolutely. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi endiablado, Can you now login to the Admin Console (i.e. do you get the Authenticate dialog)? Did you factory reset your ISY when you were having network issues? If so, do you have a backup that you can restore (File | Restore ISY). With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi endiablado, Apologies for the inconvenience. If you have MEM/Err lights blinking, it means that ISY could not get an IP address from your router. I would make sure that ISY is connected to your router and that the cable between the two is securely connected. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi gfridland, Yes, it is. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi wwat, All you have to do is to create folders for those times. If everything is based on time of day, then the condition for the times should be at the folder level and no other conditions should be set for each individual program. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi AutomationNut, Please peruse this post at the top of which is the link to register: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=930 With kind regards, Michel
