  1. @larryllix, There's already a $30 refund for migrating to eisy from Polisy: https://www.universal-devices.com/tobe_or_not_tobe/ This said, I totally understand the frustration and I am not sure how to address it. We can definitely restart taking orders for Canada, but I am certain that, even with 13% discount, you would be paying more overall. Also, if we were to offer more discounts to the Canadians, then it would not be fair to the Americans. The best solution would be to have our own division in Canada and ship directly. But that would require 10 times the current orders from Canada. In short, I am so very sorry. I just do not know what we can offer that would satisfy everyone. With kind regards, Michel
  2. @Scott Korvek, Reboot is the last thing you want to do. Please send your log + error log in a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  3. You can have both. With kind regards, Michel
  4. @GaryK4, What you need to install is this: https://www.java.com/en/download/ With kind regards, Michel
  5. @jec6613, We just cannot keep up with the demand, which is a good thing. We have another shipment coming in 2 weeks. With kind regards, Michel
  6. @TRI0N, If you are local: https://eisy.local:8443 or http://eisy.local:8080 If you have ISY Portal account: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/ISY_Portal_Admin_Console With kind regards, Michel
  7. @GaryK4, Why would you need Icedtea-Web for Windows???? If you have problems with the IoX Launcher, please submit a ticket. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello Canadian friends, @ minimum of $45 per box, the shipping charges to Canada are more than any meaningful discount we can offer and still beat the prices from AARTech. I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  9. 100% of the time! With kind regards, Michel
  10. @sjenkins, For me, it's mostly to help an elderly person with specific tasks such as: take the pills by hh:mm. If not within 30 minutes, remind again with a different prompt (spoken words). If the door to the pills cabinet is not opened, remind again, etc. ... With kind regards, Michel
  11. @WestSeattleBoi, The first thing you need to do is to upgrade packages again. The only reason eisy would start an upgrade on its own after a reboot is because the previous upgrade didn't succeed. Once the upgrade is done, please Reboot (not Restart IoX). If you still have issues, please submit a ticket. @Riggins44, you would get that in two cases: a) cache is not enabled and b) there's nothing in the cache. With kind regards, Michel
  12. @sjenkins, It's mostly for notification purposes of certain events (either scheduled or based on other events). You can also use it as a very rudimentary media player either connected directly to your amplifier or you can get a cheap headphone to Bluetooth converter (about $15 on Amazon) and stream to Bluetooth speakers. We plan to support native Bluetooth shortly so that you can stream directly to Bluetooth speakers. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Unplug the relay, plug back in, wait 10 seconds, restart the plugin. With king regards, Michel
  14. @Kentinada, Yes, of course: hhttps://docs.isy.io . It might seem a little complicated at first but we are to help you along the way. As long as you know python, you should be OK. With kind regards, Michel
  15. @dakall, Please do this: 1. Upgrade your plugin 2. Go to the details page and remove /dev/ttyU1 from the configuration parameter 3. Restart the plugin 4. The new version will automatically find and configure the port for you With kind regards, Michel

@jec6613, The concepts are easy. Alas, the libraries they use is 20G and it brings in all the dependencies for a build on Linux including things such as bluez (for bluetooth commissioning), tp, IPV6 networking, and a whole host of other things that are not really needed. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Michel Kohanim replied to kurelgyer's topic in ZMatter
@kurelgyer, You are not the bad guy, we are because it's been delayed so much. Most of the issues are related to commissioning and we may have found a good solution. I am hoping to provide you with more accurate ETA shortly. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Michel Kohanim replied to SSS's topic in eisy
@Kentinada, So sorry for the delay. There was a breaking change in the library we used, and we are just recovering from it now. With kind regards, Michel
  21. @johnnyt, If there are no official explanations, then it's still in developer mode and we are testing it with few developers. In most cases, it's the insteon device itself. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello everyone, Have you upgraded to the latest OS? (same procedure as any other upgrade) With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello All, We have a major OS upgrade to FreeBSD 13.2p9 which also includes major stability fixes for the plugins. This is not urgent. If you wish to upgrade, please follow the same procedure as always, either: Admin Console | Configuration tab | Upgrade Packages button, or One click on the Power button. You will have to reboot after the upgrade. So, it's best to use the Admin Console to be notified when the process is completed. If UD Mobile is setup for notifications, you can use the power button and you'll be notified on UD Mobile. With kind regards, Michel
