Of course. I had it in my mind I'd have to change the spoken word to trigger the scene. Duh, I just changed the old scene and the new Alexa trigger is the old trigger word. Thank you for giving my head a shake (I don't see where I can select your post as the answer, maybe that's not my call)

Hi guys, I received one of those Amazon bulbs for Christmas and was wondering if the ISY can control it or do I have to make a routine with Alexa. I would just like it to shut off when I give the verbal command for my night scene
-
Not that I’m glad to hear someone’s having issues but hopefully it is a backend issue. Thank you for chiming in. When did you go offline? I’m 4:40 am Toronto time.

I’ve tried to reboot my ISY. It went offline at 4:40am and is still offline. I tried rebooting by unplugging it and plugging it in Any other ideas?

I love the geofence stuff. When I come home the lights come on inside and out. Is there a way to arm the Blink cameras when I leave the house? Not a big deal if not. Just asking

I love the geofence. When I come home certain lights come on etc. is it possible to have the cameras arm automatically when I leave? right now I just tell Alexa to arm the house

I just upgraded my furnace and it comes with the thermostat above. They say its Alexa enabled and I've downloaded the Skill and everything else they've told me. Alexa just says "*thermostat name* is unavailable" Not frustrating at all. Hoping the new ISY would be able to do it more easily?

I’m probably going to take the plunge and get the new ISY, EISY. I see the Canadian dealer (aartech) has them in stock again. I read a topic here saying there were growing pains migrating from the 994 to the EISY. I’m about to replace my furnace and finally get a smart thermostat. Are there any thermostats the EISY doesn’t natively handle? Any I should stay away from? Any that are particularly good? I’m a newbie to smart thermostats as I have an old Coleman mercury thermostat

How to find programs containing a certain device
andrew77 replied to andrew77's topic in IoX Support
You’re right. I must have added it to the scene and forgotten to adjust its level in the scene thanks. -
I've recently been getting this error when I start the console. I click OK and it goes away and the console seems to work fine. Just wondering if its something I should worry about? Drew

How to find programs containing a certain device

I think I've found it (I guess I'll know tomorrow morning) The all off scene had the closet set at 100% as opposed to OFF I'll update tomorrow if its worked or not. -

So I’m now looking for devices with the address 4C.19.94 or 39.7C.2C correct? -
How to find programs containing a certain device

I used it once solely to check another switch. I didn't have it programmed for any scenes etc. Heres the screen of the Links table. I'm not sure what I'm looking for -
How to find programs containing a certain device

The new device didn't replace an old device, just a manual dimmer. I looked at the programs that triggered in the middle of the night and deleted some old ones. I'll see if that solves it. If not, I'll post back. -
Not a great title to my post so apologies. I grabbed a SWL and replaced a regular switch for our bedroom closet. When I 'discovered and added' it I selected add device and remove all previous links. But every morning we find the closet light on. I looked but I'm not able to see why its turning on. Is there a way to find all programs/timers that contain a certain device? The screen grab is the Membership tree

That makes sense. Thank you for the quick reply.

This is awesome. Is there a repository (I just wanted to use the word repository) for simplified Alexa phrases?
-
Just adding some new scenes and I noticed theres no check box that used to say "Apply to all devices" (something like that) where I could select all devices in a new scene and change their percentage all at once. Maybe its moved?
-
I'm assuming these are programs that now that I've updated have orphaned devices (replaced but still a ghost in the machine somewhere) "Not Specified" is usually a device that I've replaced with the same type but for some reason they don't recognize it? Not a big deal as there are no working issues. I'm just cleaning up the ISY before my next back up Drew
-
I'll do this from now on. Some devices will respond to "Turn On" but all devices seem to respond to "set" Thank you
-
Never mind. I left it for 30 minutes and it seems to be working now. Not sure why it didn't. Maybe it needed to finish or reboot itself. Now I have the UD Mobile up and running. Keep up the great work guys.

I've backed up my ISY and when I click on the ISY994Admin Console icon I get the two screens. When I try to click on the old IoX launcher the ISY doesn't load at all in the first drop down screen Any help would be great. Drew

This works, thank you. I'm uncertain why I used to be able to tell the SWL Turn on to __% and now I cant. I have SWL that currently react to the "Turn On ___%" command with no problem.

I just replaced a SWL using LeeG's directions Everything seems to be good. I deleted the old address in the Portal and in the Amazon Alexa Smart Home browser page. I've added the new device as a light etc. All good I can tell her to turn the device on and off no problem. But when I tell her to turn it on 10% or example she says "Hmm, I don't know that" have I missed a step? Drew
