  1. I got the response in UD Mobile From admin console, main, network, home, set armed status, it shows disarmed. If I select armed away and click set armed status, it changes back to disarmed. If I click query, I get TCP client request failed [NS-2-ELK:401]
  2. So I tried to arm my elk from UD Mobile and I get: <?xml version="1.0" encoding ="UTF-8"?><RestResponse succeded="false""><status>404</status><reason code="1" /></RestResponse> . 404
  3. CoolToys, Where you mention number of the user and it's pin, where and how exactly did you enter that on the server - on the user code line? What format did you use. I just put the pi in and not sure it is working right. I have ####. Should it be # #### Where first # is user number and last 4 are the pin? Thanks, John
  4. Just going to disconnect and delete the ISY......will have to figure out the programs over again, not too hard. Would have been nice if instructions said to copy these separately before migration.
  5. Hi Dennis, Been to that wiki page and use sub var extensively. These 2 were discussed YEARS ago in the forum and the purpose was to show the most recent trip on the ISY and what it was. They were never documented that I could find. I am hoping there is something similar on the EISY or I will have to write about 20 email notifications.
  6. ISY defaulted to safe mode after Migration Understand changes, but I deleted some of the lines, and need to re-create them No other node servers Will violate a zone and check
  7. Migrated from ISY99 to EISY I have been using email substitution variables "${Alert.control} ${alert. Action}" forever (With ISY) Now with EISY the resultant Email shows things like GV0 0 and GV1 4 vice the actual conditions. Searched the forums and wiki page, can't find anything discussing this. Any help?
  8. I transitioned to EISY and loaded ELK Module (after some difficulty getting into Polyglot). The nodes all appear to have enter into the EISY, and I have fixed most of my programs. Unfortunately I did not copy the programs, I just did a backup as I thought everything would carry over. Even tried loading back into ISY, but says it is in safe mode and doesn't copy the programs. I have 2 problems with ELK Module now: 1. After I click Elk module in UD Mobile I get 2 errors saying "Could not get custom. Client is null. 500" then it says "Could not get node servers. Client is null. 500" 2. The ELK log says "Invalid Credential. Please check username and Password. 401". I entered a new user in ELK named it EISY and gave it a separate passcode. Used that passcode in ELK Server user_code. How do I fix?
  9. Thanks all, I got logged in on UD Mobile (Which is a mess now not sure why). So now my focus is learning about Node Server ELK. I have it installed, but not sure it is right. Had to rewrite all my programs, what a pain. Regards, John
  10. Trying to finish my migration from ISY to EISY, need to but Elk Module. I get to the Polyglot login screen, try admin admin, and all my other accounts, it sit there. Tried a different browser, no go Turned off my av and other systems, still no go. What am I doing wrong
  11. Thanks Everyone, The text method just didn't want to cooperate. I used the HTML with the <BR> commands and I was able to format the body the way I wanted. Best Regards, John
  12. Mine has text selected, but just makes one long line.....Thanks for responding
  13. I have a custom email with several leak detector status listed. When I get the email all the leak sensors report in a long sentence vice each sensor on its own line (like I have it in the body). How do I force a CR at the end of each line? I searched in the forum and the WIKI but could not find anything but substitution variables (which am using). Thanks, John
  14. OK, so stand fast with what I have. Interesting on not documenting how to send to a single device (I did look before posting). So did anyone else have issues like I did? Thanks again. Will let you know if I have any more issues. Thanks, John
  15. Hi @Javi, You have been a big help! - I checked permissions, they were all OK - Notifications were listed on the notifications tab - Sending to a specific group....In my program it was listed to send to 'Family' But on UD Mobile the slider for family was set of off. Putting it back to on made everything work again!!! Not sure how it go to off. - So I wanted to try to send to just my device (it is the only device listed in family), So I modified the program to remove family and put my device id in there. And it doesn't work. What do I have to do to just send to my device? Not sure what I did wrong... - I reverted back to family, and it all works OK. Thanks for all your help! Regards, John
  16. Javi, No space at beginning or end of API Key. This is what I get when I run a test....but nothing on UD Mobile: HTTP/1.1 200 OK X-Powered-By: Express Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * Vary: Origin Cache-Control: no-cache Content-Type: When I run a test on UD Mobile itself, I get a test notification. Where do I check permissions? Thanks, John
  17. I have had this set up and working since Oct 2022. Now as of 3/20, it quit. Seems to happen concurrent with a UD Mobile update. What should I check to get it going again? I already tried resetting the API and updating the info in Network resources. Thanks, John

The solution is not to use text for notifications as it is slow and unreliable at times. Lookup use of UD Mobile Networking or Pushover as described above. This thread can be closed. Regards, John

Thanks Geddy, Yea, I am on Android so UD Mobile will be fine for me. Appreciate all the help from the group. Regards, John

OK, I give up on text since the group deems is unreliable (although it has been fine for me for years). I set up a UDMobile Notification. Played with Program Variables and I think I get how it works. So now I need to copy all my text notifications over to Network entries. The notification seems to get delivered very quick. Thanks for the help all! Regards, John

Upgraded to 5.3.4, still have the issue. Text has been working fine until I got an email from comcast stating an application I am using is outdated will not be able to work if they do not update TLS 1.2. Email is working fine (Comcast for both send and receive), also receive email on Gmail account. Techman, what are your Server settings for outgoing? I have: smtp.comcast.net Port 587 with TLS checked and timeout 6000 sending to user@txt.att.net Geddy, I will look for the alternate options..... Thanks, John
  22. JSchumann replied to JSchumann's topic in ISY994
This did not fix the issue. It appears to affect messaging to a text number more than an email. Ex. Xyz@txt.att.net
  23. JSchumann replied to JSchumann's topic in ISY994
OK, I checked this, both are set to 1.2. Now I have to wait and see if it gets shutdown. Thanks Techman for the info!!! Regards, John

I was notified by Xfinity that email won't work any more unless TLS 1.2 is being used (vice 1.1). I looked at my settings Configuration Email/Notifications Settings/Groups and there is only a checkbox to use TLS, it doesn't offer an option for version. I have V5.3.0 2020-10-01-14:39:56 for both Firmware and UI Any advice, I want to keep Comcast, not use Gmail. Thanks, John
