  1. You need the 2413S. the U version is USB. The power supplies in the PLM with your date code have a history of failing after about 2 years. Your unit was built the 29th week of 2013. The current PLM's have improved power supplies and updated firmware You can try a restore modem which may buy you some time but you really should replace the unit.
  2. rick, run a diagnostics / compare on the modules that aren't turning off. If the results show a link mismatch then do a device restore on that module. It's also possible that once the modules are on one of the loads is creating noise on the power line preventing the module from turning off.
  3. Check the time statement in your IF line if should have a "FROM" Your switchlinc should be a controller in your scene. Make sure you have the on levels and ramp rates set for your devices in the scene. Night Ramp Rate Program: If FROM 10pm to Sunrise (next day) Then In Scene MS-Sensor Set Switchlinc 30% (On Level) In Scene MS-Sensor Set Switchlinc 4.5 Sec (Ramp Rate)
  4. That's correct. Add the new device first, then right click on the old device and do a replace with.... The "replace with" command will show all compatible installed devices that can be used as a replacement.
  5. Andy, The problem could be that the devices are manually linked directly with one another and not through the ISY. They should be factory reset then each linked via the ISY link management.
  6. I would first focus on the low voltage lighting. If the transformer is not hard wired then you may want to try either a filterlinc between the transformer and the line, or substitute the low voltage out for a led or incandescent load to see if that eliminates the problem.
  7. chacvhdog, Did you run diagnostics on the devices other than the motion sensor? What type of bulbs are you using in the fixtures? What type of devices are you using, are they dual band?
  8. The replace has to be a similar device, dimmer switch with a dimmer switch, etc.
  9. You either have a combinations issue, I.e. either noise on the powerline or poor signal or you may have some bad links in the devices that are not responding.. Run a diagnostics / compare on the device(s) that are not responding. If all is OK then you should focus on the communication issue. Have you added any new electronics abut the time the problem started. Do you have dual band devices in close proximity to your motion sensors?
  10. If your replacing a switch with the same kind, first link the new switch in the ISY then right click on the old switch and click on "replace...."
  11. There's a current version of the ISY manual, for 4.3.26, at http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/ISY%20User%20Guide%204.2.8.pdf
  12. The lights indicate that the ISY is unable to communicate with your Ethernet network. Check your cables and try rebooting your router
  13. Which lights are on / blinking on the ISY
  14. Doesn't the "automatic write to battery operated devices" option in the ISY pro do the same as the write update program?
  15. Maybe you should give the Smithsonian a call to see if they want it. They could put it in a display case next to the Wright Brothers plane.
  16. There are two basically two types of LED bulbs, those with a built in driver and those without a driver. The bulbs with a well designed driver circuit offer better compatibility with various dimmers. The attached file expands on the driver technology. understanding-led-drivers.pdf
  17. Is this what you're looking for? ISY Program execution order.pdf
  18. The dual band ON/OFF module does not have a sensing circuit.. I got rid off all my appliance modules (now discontinued) and replaced them with the ON/OFF modules
  19. You could also use the ON/OFF module which has a relay instead of a triac. This would guarantee you an off regardless on the attached load.
  20. A bulb shaped icon represents an Insteon LED bulb. Try deleting the module then reinstalling it.

    Restore

Try to access the ISY via this link http://isy.universal...994i/admin.jnlp If all else fails then submit a support ticket to: http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-support They'll get you up and running.

Try disabling your firewall Which browser and operating system are you using?

    Restore

Can you take a look at your router configuration and get the IP address of the ISY, if so you should then be able to access using a browser. What browser and operating system are you using?

Take a look at this thread http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/16624-isy-finder-not-found/?hl=%2Bisy+%2Bfinder

You need to clear out your Java Cache including applications, then install the current version of the Administrative Console (4.3.26) for the ISY. You should also remove power from the PLM and the ISY, then power up the PLM, wait about 15 seconds then power up the ISY. Let me know if that helps.
