Low Battery on Motion Sensor
I have the low battery node(s) turn on a scene which lights a "low battery" button on a KPL. The button stays lit until I manually turn it off.
-
What camera solutions are you integrating with ISY
Thank you, I'll take a look at the specs. Seems the camera is available on amazon and newegg. How's the construction quality and the night vision? Does the camera have a jack or a pigtail for the cat cable?

I've been looking for a 3 mp POE outdoor camera and saw your post. The price seems very low for a 3 mp camera. Does it come with software? Are there any negatives?

KeypadLinc buttons + multiple ramp rates?
Not sure what you're referring to as the "ON" button. The 8 button KPL has buttons A - H Are you using only one 8 button KPL or do you also have other controller(s)? You could use buttons B-H, configured as controllers, to control different scenes. The "A" button which is connected to the load would only turn on the 4 lights but the "A" button can be a responder in scenes which can control whatever devces(s) are in the scene(s). In that case you wouldn't need to add an inlinelinc to the 4 lights. I hope I'm not confusing you.

KeypadLinc buttons + multiple ramp rates?
yes If you want to have the 4 lights controlled by different scenes with different ramp rates and dim levels then you need to have them on a device that is a responder. Each KPL button would be a controller for a different scene with devices in the scenes as responders.
-
KeypadLinc buttons + multiple ramp rates?
You'll probably need to use an InlineLinc to control the load which is now on button A, then add that InlineLinc as a responder to your various scenes with each scene having unique ramp rates and dim levels for the devices. Button "A" would then become just another controller for a scene.

ISY994 Administrative Console fails to work after Java update
The correct way is to clear your java cache including deleting programs and applets. This also deletes your ISY shortcuts. then reinstalls the ISY admin console and dashboard (if you're using it).
-
KeypadLinc buttons + multiple ramp rates?
memo, a controller can only be used as a controller in one scene. create multiple scenes with different on levels and ramp rates then use a KPL button(s) to control that scene(s)

Monitoring Temperature In A Refrigerator
smokegrub, There should be a drain line/hole at the bottom of the freezer compartment, check to make sure it's not clogged. You should also check the defrost timer, and also make sure your door gaskets have a good seal and are not letting air inside the compartments

Battery Write Icon - Last known state??
Battery operated devices "sleep" when they are not being used in order to extend the battery life. In order to write to them you have to wake them up by putting them in the linking mode. Once you have them programmed you should rarely have a need to write to them. You should only write to one battery operated device at a time by putting it into the linking mode then taking it out of linking before you put the next device into linking mode.

Temp threshold alerts - HOW TO
The wireless thermostat would be completely independent from your main thermostat, you would use it just to send email alerts when the temperature where is thermostat is located is outside of a set threshold. The thermostat has a tabletop stand or it can be wall mounted.
-
Temp threshold alerts - HOW TO
You can use the Insteon wireless thermostat then just create a program with temperature thresholds to trigger an email alert.

System Busy Constantly
In that case I would suggest contacting UDI. Submit a Ticket: http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-support Email: support@universal-devices.com Phone: 818.631.0333

When you updated your firmware did you also clear out your java cache and upload the 4.2.18 java version of the admin console?

System Busy Constantly
I would try disabling all the devices that have a "!" or "1011" next to them, right click on the device then click on disable. Does the "system busy" go away after the devices are disabled? If so, then enable the devices, one at a time, and try to query it. Hopefully you'll find a device that's causing the problem. How many devices are problematic? If your still having issues after trying the above then I would open a trouble ticket with UDI.

System Busy Constantly
aawitek, The 2477d is a dual band device meaning that it transmits both over the powerline and by RF which provides superior communication compared to the older single band devices. It appears that you either have some interference on the powerline or the two legs of your powerline are not properly bridged. Interference can be caused by defective CFL bulbs, TV's, UPS, etc. If your system was working well at some point in time then you may have added some electrical device that's creating noise on the powerline. Do any of your devices have a red ! or a green 1011 next to them.

Confirm 2441ZTH Compatibility
The thermostat has a temperature node that sends its data to the ISY. IF temperature node is => 65 Then do something Else <nothing>

"is on" status VS "turns on" control
Can you post a copy of your program. If it's intermittent it's probably a communications issue. Do you have any dual band devices or access points close to the motion sensor, if not you might want to add one to see if that helps.

Switchlinc not respnding manually
I would try a factory reset on the device, other than that it might be on the way out.

Scenes - Controllers
A device can only be controller in one scene. Is your device a controller in another scene?
-
Scenes - Controllers
If you right click on a device and select "add to a scene" it should ask you if you want to add as a controller or responder. Once the device is in a scene click on the plus sign to the left of the scene name. The controllers will be in red and the responders in blue.
