  1. Run a diagnostics / compare link tables on the Switchlinc If you have any mismatched links then do a restore device which will rewrite the devices link tables. If that doesn't solve your issue then you most likely have a communications issue between the PLM and the Switchlinc What type of load is the switchlinc controlling?
  2. What exactly are you trying to accomplish, why do you want to monitor group broadcasts. There may be other options.
  3. Run a topology report (tools | Generate topology). The report is full of info including, at the bottom of the report, exactly what you're looking for.
  4. One other possibility - if the units are linked manually it possible that the ISY doesn't have the correct/complete link tables. which may be causing the master to revert to the wired unit. What happens if you adjust only the wireless unit rather than the wired unit via the ISY/Mobillinc?
  5. Set the wireless thermostat as a master. Does the master setting then, and should, turn off on the wired unit? Note: the manual states that the wireless unit must be linked to the master for this to work. I'm not sure if linking both units via the ISY accomplishes this or if you have to link them manually.
  6. Try using auto detect and type in the device address xx.xx.xx If that doesn't work then you may have a communication issue with the device
  7. There's no way to program or query a battery operated device remotely. They're always in the sleep mode to preserve battery life. The only other option is to use a magnetic contact switch coupled to an IOLinc
  8. The battery signal and the on/off signal are totally independent of one another. It must have been something else.
  9. Take a look at the attached file. What's the date code and version of your PLM. Is the green led on the PLM lit? When you boot up the ISY do you get any error messages? Did you also update the UI to 4.5.4?
  10. Do the lights turn off when you turn the scene off The togglelinc relays probably respond to an either a scene on or off regardless of what their on level is set in the scene.
  11. The ISY requires a separate power supply when you use the 2413S
  12. Be careful, I just had to trash a 2441zth because the batteries leaked and destroyed the circuit board. There's no way to warn you if the batteries fail when you're on AC power.
  13. The downside is that it has batteries that need to be replaced. I attached the manual. The IOLinc can be queried, the sensor can't. I prefer the IOlinc when I have an outlet close by. 2843-222 Open-Close Sensor.pdf

Keep in mind that the motion sensors don't really detect motion, they detect variations in temperature. As larryllix suggested it would be best to have two units mounted 90 degrees apart as the sensors work best when a person moves across the sensor path not into the path. Take a look at the coverage chart in the attached manual 2842-222 Motion Sensor Manual.pdf
  16. The open close sensor has an option (screw terminals) to attach an external sensor.
  17. Sorry, I thought you were using an IOLinc to monitor the garage door. Even with the bulbs removed the ballasts can still be a problem by injecting noise into the powerline. You should do a 4 tap test on the range extender to verify that it's communicating with your other devices and the ISY and that both legs of your powerline are properly bridged
  18. Techman replied to mmoore99's topic in ISY994
Unfortunately NO. However it will most likely be supported in the ISY version 5.x firmware release.
  19. With A/C power on the 2441ZTH it will report humidity in real time and temperature with every 2 degree change. You're also able to query the stat and make changes without having to put it into linking mode.
  20. Can you post a copy of one of your programs that isn't working what ISY firmware and UI are you running. What version of the ISY do you have?
  21. I have to agree with oberkc. The fluorescent lights, once on, could be creating powerline noise thus interfering with the off signal. If you can turn the lights on and off from the switch then I would try plugging the range extender into the IOLinc which might help improve the signal. Do you have other dual band devices close by other than your range extender.
  22. Take a look at this thread, #15. Seems the old RL's can be somewhat problematic. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19294-communication-issues/?hl=%2Bremotelinc+%2B2440&do=findComment&comment=181041
  23. Try doing a scene diagnostics which will give you a log (hopefully) showing where the problem is.
  24. Put all the lights into a scene and then run a program at sunset to turn on the scene You can run a 2nd program that runs from 10:01pm until ?? that says if lights x,x,x are not off then turn them off.
  25. Noremac, I noticed that your Remotelinc is showing v.00. It most likely didn't install properly. You should delete and reinstall it. When installing/linking battery operated devices make sure only one battery operated device is in the linking mode at any one time and that the device is within close proximity to a dual band device to insure RF coupling.
