for what ever reason when I add a scene or something like a folder it doesntr show up. Only after I close the program and start it back up then the appear. I ended up with 5 folder the same name. Any ideas?

Yes, it does seem like a relay should be replaceable with a dimmer (but not vice-versa). Is this truly a link table issue or is it a function of the ISY just not letting you do it? You do not want to replace a Relay with a Dimmer. Relays are used to control loads ex... motors, or appliances you don't want to put a dimmer in its place.

Thanks for the response I plan on doing away with all X10 I'm 2/3 away. I have and Insteon motion sensor ordered. I'm sure there will be more questions. I cant rely on Rand for every question even though he is so willing to answer.

I'm a newbie when it comes to ISY99. i been around industrial automation for over 20 years. My question is why does my X10 motion sensor so ON under my devices Also I linked two keys on a remotelink 2440 ant it show them On to. any ideas.
