  1. @bpwwer @glarsen I tried what you mention above. No luck see the screen caps below. It won't let me install it still. Any ideas for what to try next
  2. Hi I was gone for 6 days and while I was gone someone unplugged my rain machine. When I got back I noticed the poly was getting errors to the effect " controller not found in database". Also it showed as disconnected in the PG3 display. Most status in the admin console appeared ok however. Anyway I restarted it to see if that would fix it. No change. I then deleted and reinstalled it in the same slot. It no longer will install. I also rebooted the polyglot along with re powering up the polisy. No luck. I am not sure what to do next. I have attached various log files and screen caps. Not sure if they will be of value as it was down for so long. Any help to get it back up would be appreciated. debug.log pg3-current.log
  3. Yes it was a request I made awhile back. I currently have to multiple cubic feet by 7.48 to get gallons per minute. This makes the programming simpler. Thanks to the great cooperation of @glarsen and @JimboAutomates everything is now in place. I have been testing my programs for a couple weeks now. If you are interested in what I am doing I can provide more info. I am checking actual flow versus expected and sending a notification if I see excessive usage.
  4. I have had a program running for weeks now, that when it detects motion turns on a garage light plugged in to a kasa hs110. It suddenly stopped working a few days ago. I am not sure if it is related to updates made to the tag manager or not. I also had a power outage here that messed up my network, so that may have caused the problem. In any case, i deleted the kasa and tag node servers and reinstalled them. All seemed to go well. I also verified that they were gone from the admin console and readded them after I reinstalled the 2 node servers. I still do not see any info in the event state. Any idea where to go from here? See info below. Thanks Steve @JimboAutomates WirelessTag_2-23-2022_94646_AM.zip
  5. @JimboAutomates Just tried the leak sensor here too. Looks fine. I will give it a water test later today.
  6. @Jimbo Just got a good capture of the issue. Info logs etc. placed in Github. Steve
  7. I am close to having my leak test application up and running. I noticed that in a program I am able to do a "query" of the device "flume water". Watching the log and flume node values it does not appear to do anything. So my question.....Is there any way that I can "force" the flume values to update outside of the normal interval. @Jimbo Thanks Steve
  8. Just curious about 3 things. 1) What is the format of the field "last Update time" see below. 2) Is the current transmitting power level available to add to a tags info. I like keeping track of it to follow the levels my tags are using. 3) Should the chip temp be accurate... mine says 246.2 Thanks Steve
  9. Good Morning @Jimbo Just happened again after running many days. This time I got invalid token. Restarting it fixed the problem. Log file attached check around 7:44 this AM. Thanks Steve FlumeWater_2-4-2022_83415_AM.txt
  10. same here if it matters...mine are all up and running fine.
  11. Thank You That was the issue. I have my ISY named anacapa and my wireless tag manager as anacapa and I could not see the difference. I will rename my wireless manager when I get the chance.
  12. @Jimbo @garybixler @bambamf16 Bambam Gary showed me where to find it, but I don't have the tag manager. I only have the controller. Is there something I need to do to make it appear? See admin console capture below Thanks
  13. @glarsen Hi Just took a look at my rain machine info and it appears to have changed to cfm. I believe we discussed that cfm times 7.48 will give me what I need. Is cfm going to be the final unit of measure or will it be gpm as was previously available. Thanks Steve see config info below
  14. @garybixler Hi I am trying to get my tags running also and was asked to "set the monitor tags true in admin console"also. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Would you let me know where I find it. Thanks
  15. @Jimbo Don't see any change yet. See attached info below. I restarted everything and rebooted the Polisy. I am connecting to an ISY on a 994. I saw on another thread that it was throttling issue. If it would help for testing purposes, I could install another instance of the tag server, on my PG3 and point it to the not used, but running, ISY on the polisy. Steve WirelessTag_1-28-2022_75619_AM.txt
  16. no problem no hurry to fix it Just saw fix is up. Thanks
  17. I rebooted polisy twice along with the isy on the 994i. It does not appeared to have changed anything. See logs etc below. I also did a discover in PG3 for tag manager just before I captured the logs. If you think ssh commands are the next step, could one of you send them to me. @Jimbo @bpwwer @Michel Kohanim Thanks WirelessTag_1-26-2022_32659_PM.txt
  18. I believe I have everything running as far as I can see. The node server has started and been authorized. The tag controller shows up in the ISY admin console. I have done a discovery and add all nodes from the admin console. Also did a discovery from the PG3 version on polyglot. For some reason no tags show up. I have 3 tags the temp sensor, PIR detector, and the air and light motion tags All software has been updated and both the polyglot and polisy rebooted. Is there anything else I need to do. See screen shots and log file ( in debug mode ) below. @Jimbo Thanks Steve WirelessTag_1-26-2022_111702_AM.txt
  19. The change to checking status did work. I can now get the programs to run. I need to give this some more thought but the solution suggested by @oberkc looks to be the way to go. i.e just have the first event trigger a second program that would always run to completion off and running it seems just have to write 21 programs....one for each circuit unless I can figure out a way to index a matrix of variables. Thanks again to all of you for the help
  20. Thanks to all of you above @apostolakisland @oberkcfor the thoughts. I will do more testing to see if I can get it to work. To answer your questions above. I am running the PG3 version of the rain machine node server. The node was created by it. I have no way of "knowing" how ISY is treating it...i.e. whether I will get a "control" or "status message" that I am aware of. With the proliferation of node servers coming I could see being an issue if I somehow I need this info. What is am trying to accomplish is, whenever a zone turns on, to monitor the flow and compare it to an expected value to see if I have excessive water usage. What happens that I am testing above, is that the Rainmachine timer turned on circuit at a given time according to that days schedule. I want that event to run the program for that circuit. I have to have, at least a 3 minute delay, for the circuit to reach full flow. It appears "control" is not triggered. I will try "status" today. If status does work and I have to deal with my program halting midstream what is the best solution? Should I have the event initiate another program that does what I need to do. I assume by initiating another program it could not be stopped by the first one. I really appreciate all your help. Steve
  21. for @glarsen I have written a program that I hope to have trigger when a certain circuit comes on. In this test zone 8. For some reason, it will not start when the node status switches to run. I have multiple screen caps below. The program is first. I manually ran the if statement at 3:32 to verify status is false and node says idle I waited a few minutes and then manually started circuit 8 on my rain machine. Within 15 seconds or so the node showed the circuit as running, but the if statement did not trigger true. I then ran the if statement manually and also did not get a true status. Am I am doing something wrong or am I a victim of not understanding isy if statements. Is this the right way to do what I want? Thanks Steve
  22. about 80% sure that it was reachable...I could connect via a browser to it. Anyway no big deal. I will keep an eye on it and let you know if I figure out anything.
  23. It looks like sometime in the last day or so I started to get a failure to connect error. Restarting the node server seems to have fixed it. I had a similar problem with the flume node server a few days ago. It also said unexpected disconnection. This is an FYI as I know everything is in beta. I have a bit of the logs below. If you need more info let me know.
  24. Got the same errors Seems like a fix is on the way but included screen shot of them below as an FYI Everything updated and rebooted / restarted If additional logs are needed let me know.
  25. Just an FYI for @jimbo My flume node server stopped returning data the other day after many days. No big deal just restarted it and will keep an eye on it. Checking the log I now see an error every now and then. I thought you might like to know about it. It does not seem to affect anything, as all is working fine again. See below
