Since you're able to link them to each other i highly doubt any of the switches are bad. Since you have the ability to bench test, pull them out, plug then in where the isy is and link them to the isy. Once linked, re-install. If you still can't talk to them, it's either a phase issue or noise issue. With those being Powerline only, they are more susceptible to both

I don't know of any that can change dynamically like insteon does but then again, it's been a while since I've tested newer dimmer releases. The Homeseer 200 would switch is probably your best bet in getting a switch that will do what you want

This is why it doesn't work. You're looking at the status. If you only turn 1 light on and any of the rest are off, then the program will operate and turn off the lights Change status to control and it'll work If control a is switched off Or b Or c Or d Then set all of them off

If control motion is switched on Wait 5 minutes Set lights off I wouldn't worry about the status of the light. If it's already on it would stay on. If it's off, it'll turn off.

No. You will need to configure each device separately. If you add the responders and configure them prior to adding the controllers, this will automatically update the controllers in that scene

The good thing about all this is that nothing would stop working if insteon did shut down. Obviously replacements would be harder to find so at some point yes things would need to be replaced. The system.itself could potentially last though for many years afterwards. The only alternative to insteon for lighting is really Lutron (outside of high end systems). Zwave has enough issues on its own that I don't consider them a viable replacement to insteon (in regards to capabilities and flexibility).

I think corona has effected them just like it has everyone else. Factory shut downs along with shipping delays is hurting everyone all over (walk into your nearest BB, home depot, or lowes, and see how much stock is missing. I do know there is new products from other companies that have been delayed for 6+ months due to what's going on around. There are new products in the fcc database so that may be part of things as well. When new ownership took over, they decrease stock of slow selling items. Awhile that may impact those who want different colors, I'm assuming the looked at sales vs costs and decided cutting those products were worthwhile. I do know dealers have been sent emails stating when stock would be getting low and to stock up if needed. All this is supposed to level out in January...barring government shutdowns again all over the world.

You would want to ask UDI your questions since it's their company. They would have the answers you seek. If they don't respond here, you could submit a ticket or email them direct. If I had to guess, their costs probably went up which caused them to raise prices. You could also try other sellers as they may have it in stock

They haven't stopped making them. Dealers should have received notices that there's a parts shortage so things would be in and out of stock through the end of the year. Things should settle down and get back to normal in January

I was referring to the isy firmware. 5.3 is the latest. I would try that one since it's official. Make sure that you clear your Java cache. When did you get your v3

There are no updates for polisy at this time

I would submit a ticket to UDI

What options do you have when you click purchase modules

I doubt it. If you go to help>purchase modules>zwave module, do you see the ability to purchase it for a dollar

Does the switch support beaming? If it doesn't it would not help with the lock which could be contributing to the issues you're having
