  1. It's not odd. What you can pull from those commands vs what the API exposed are 2 different things. You'll notice that when doing a get, the name is actually letters and numbers....this is what is exposed (also whats used for NRs). You have to dig into it to see the scene name that you actually named it. Their API is open so you can easily see what is exposed. V2 may be different but the Node server is based on V1. Matter may help with some of the hacking but to some degree I think it'll always be this way. The good thing is that it's only for the initial work. Once done, it getsuch easier

It's not all about them. It takes everyone doing the same.

Not if you're using the isy994 as it will not support matter. You would need the matter board for polisy or the future systems such as the eisy (and matter compatible board) to do so. Since Matter has not yet been released, no one can say what can be done. If everyone upholds what has been talked about with matter, then yes you could accomplish what you're asking if you have compatible equipment. Until there's a widespread release, all we can do is speculate
  4. Michel answered this before and the answer was yes. They called it Matter for marketing purposes as people are more aware of the name Matter than how it communicates (thread)
  5. You could try replacing the power supply Polisy is the newest version of the isy released a few years ago (currently out of stock). You can find out more information on UDI's website. The eisy is the future (not yet released). With polisy being out of stock, I'd wait for eisy. Either way, it's up to you to decide if you want to continue using a discontinued 9 year old device (if it's a power supply issue), or move forward and upgrade to the latest system they have to offer.
  6. You'll have to decide that. You're on the Isy forum so we'd say find a 2413s. You could also wait for the new eisy to be released (preorders next month) and use that with your USB PLM.
  7. They don't use RF at all in regards to the show itself. They use an enhanced gps system. The flight plates are setup and preloaded into the drones using WiFi. Even if they did use Rf, the technology would most likely be too expensive for standard consumer devices.
  8. Are you trying to use your Isy or computer with your insteon devices? If using the Isy; the 2413u is not compatible with it. You'll want to use the Isy wiki instructions in order to get started. If using your computer, you'll want to use compatible software such as indigo or Home Assistant
  9. So.... You're saying just have a dumb house? Your fonts covers all protocols past, present, and future

  11. That lock isn't supported by the Isy. You may be able to do so if you add it to something that supports homekit such as HA and then add HA to the isy via the Node server. I don't use himekit and have never tried it so i can't say definitively that it will work
  12. What does the zooz manual say?
  13. You do realize that there was a chart of the sales page that answered your questions from here
  14. I think UDI offers paid services for those who needs help in regards to setting up their system.

I'd clear Java cache, go back to 5.0.16, and fully read the instructions from the firmware page which details how to fix the yellow
  16. lilyoyo1 replied to fustesj99's topic in ISY994
No difference except the firmware. 1 just has additional modules
  17. The price some would make me choose Leviton. Both are well known and established companies. I do use Leviton outlets now only because Eaton doesn't have 700 series receptacles yet (Eaton is my preference). Enbrighten outlets have historically felt cheapest to me.
  18. What commands did you use to check for version number when you used ssh?
  19. I'm not understanding all the hoopla. They just received their first shipment with a limited number of devices. Most likely not enough to send to other distributors. Their email never stated they won't work with other partners. Only that they'll ship up north (something they did previously). Give them time to smooth out the kinks with supply. If they don't work with Aartech then I can understand all the extras.
  20. Any update for polisy say update for "isy for polisy" while updates for the isy994 says updates for isy994. The only update for the 994 is 5.3.4
  21. That's because it's wireless. It didn't send it's status unless acted upon
  22. Ummmm....Not sure if that's appropriate here
  23. I've done that in the past as a temporary solution for clients. Once you see the etched buttons, you can see that there's a huge difference...at least to me. It's a good option for those who do not want to spend the money or if they don't bring the custom buttons back
  24. The hue api doesnt present the hue scene information in such a way that it can translated by the isy (at least not the version its based on. Developers choose what node servers they want to support so its hard to say what will be coming to pg3. If there is enough interest to make it worthwhile, one may be willing to develop a Node server for them. The main thing would be ensuring they have an open api and posting it to help make things easier for a developer.
