  1. Its a great node server. I think it would be better overall to let @bpwwerknow what you're looking for so he can debug as his time permits and/or possibly add more of the missing functionality.
  2. What limitations are you running into? The nodeserver supports everything the api does except for turning subwoofers off and on
  3. Javi responded to you in your previous thread saying that you would need a nodeserver for 2 way communication. Didn't sound like they were willing to develop 2 way communication to be used with NRs
  4. Zmatter board allows OTA updates of supported devices (newly released) and able to set device associations such as direct association with zwave devices. Most importantly, UDI plans on supported and updating whereas the zooz dongle will not receive compatibility updates to add features
  5. The biggest difference between those apps with Alexa/Google and UDI is that the company which makes each products are doing their own coding which allows them to do things that they may not expose using their APIs.
  6. No it does not. This connects directly to your LG TV for tv control functions. It does not connect to LG services
  7. Nothing unless you recently upgraded your firmware. Depending on your firmware proof to the upgrade, if you upgraded your firmware, your password would change
  8. This nodeserver works great for me especially at it's price point. The only thing missing is being able to turn the subwoofers off/on but hopefully one day @bpwwercould look at that. Some of the things that I'm able to do with it is auto volume control. Instead of needing to adjust the volume manually, my volume will automatically lower the later it gets. If the music is on with the TV, the music will automatically turn down as well. Besides turning off my music when leaving, going to bed, etc; I'm also able to select my playlist based on different conditions without opening up the app. It also works with their newest speakers if you were to ever upgrade to the era line.
  9. Im assuming that you upgraded your polisy to the latest firmware. In the firmware notes section, it shows current device compatibility list. That device is not on there.
  10. Range varies due to environment. Being that this is their beta release, it'll be impossible for anyone here to say what range you would get based on their experiences. I suspect either you are too far or your device is not supported. Does it show up on the list on the firmware update page?
  11. I'm assuming you updated your system to the latest firmware. According to the firmware update release notes, motion sensors are not supported yet
  12. Have you tried restore modem AND restore devices

    MY ISY994 Died

I doubt it since mobilinc has long been disco'd and not updated. Most here uses the UD Mobile app which information can be found under its own subforum on the main home page. You can also ask your question in the mobilinc subforum. Wes still responds there.

    MY ISY994 Died

Under the eisy tab on the main forum page. If you google eisy wiki, you can also find information.

    Same question was previously asked.

    Meross devices

That depends on the technology they use. If it's zwave then they should add without issue if they use standard zwave commands.
  18. In case you weren't aware, there is no difference between the modules. The internal is what's used inside the USB enclosure
  19. I think you are confusing information that you've read. UDI (Michel) did say POLISY had 3 more years (less now) of support alongside EISY. Even then, if you look at the total time Polisy has been on the market, itll be 6 years total. Reality is, most products grow obsolete after a few years because technology changes. If UDI stayed the course with the exact same product, they'll eventually get left behind and go out of business. The good thing is that your products will still work. As the end user, you can choose to stick with what you have and not upgrade or you can upgrade and take advantage of whatever features a new product brings. For example, the zmatter stick is 700 series. In the next couple of years, 800 series devices will start coming out from en masse vs trickling out like they are now. Would you expect UDI to continue making the current dongle or come out with a new one? What about when 900 series devices hit? The same will apply to EISY as well. The chips that eisy uses will become obsolete or (potentially) the power needs will be increased due to new capabilities.

  21. It's the same exact board so I would think so.
  22. Even with that, it'll still be your fault with the way people act on here sometimes
  23. That doesn't necessarily work for adding devices. All must support Network wide inclusion. The op is better off bring it close to the isy to add, moving it to its final location and then choosing update neighbors

    Eisy if/when/else

The ISY Cookbook is also a great resource for learning how to program. Programming starts around page 160
