I reasoned the same thing and have signed out of account A numerous times and then carefully signed back in. The result is always the same, account B devices.
-
I did as suggested. The discovered devices were from "B". Please note what I feel is an important detail: In Alexa, the Dots for A are shown under a banner stating "Set up a new device". That is very weird because Alexa recognizes the presence of the Dots but apparently they have become not properly "set up".
-
The devices and scenes that appear are those from location B not A.

When I sign into the portal/Location A/Connectivity/Amazon I see all my devices, scenes and spokens for Location A. Everything is as it was. The problem is apparently that the Dots have lost their connection to the account. That. despite the fact the Dots are displayed under settings as "New Devices" with "Online" located beneath each device. The implication is that they need to be added.

On both when connected to the same Amazon account.

I just noticed something that is obviously directly related to my problem. All the Dots associated with this account are displayed under settings as "New Devices" with "Online" located beneath each device. The implication is that they need to be added. Thoughts/suggestions?

OK, I think I figured it out. I signed out then signed in to the same Alexa account. Did not resolve my problem. The devices that are listed remain incorrect.
-
I would if I could determine how. I searched Google for help. Then I proceeded to Settings. When I go to Alexta Account I see four menu items, Notifications, Voice Purchasing. Household Profile and History. None of these, as far as I can tell, give me the option to sign out and sign back in with the desired account. I will continue to see if I can find out how to do this.

I am stuck at this point and desperately need help. I don't know whether the problem is with the portal or Amazon. I would really appreciate it if someone would chime in. Michel? Benoit?

I have two Amazon accounts set up, which for the purpose of my question I will refer to as A & B. I also have two portal accounts, A & B. When I left A to travel to B, A was working perfectly. I set up B on its Amazon Account and its portal. That worked very well. When I returned to A, I closed Amazon account B, switched to account A and account A's portal. When I try Discpver devices those for account B are discovered. What am I doing incorrectly?

Michel, I checked the status of security on my Mac and the Firewall is off and has been. By the way, both ISY's communicate through Apple Airport Extremes. Each uses a different ISP. I have rebooted one of the Airports and updated its firmware. That resolved several problems. I have used its away IP at that location and accessed the ISY successfully. I can access the other ISY (Admin Console) with its away IP and can see all devices and programs, but I cannot get them to work unless, as noted above, I use multiple mouse clicks in rapid succession. I will reboot the second router when I return to my primary residence and update its firmware. I will also try to access the ISY remotely where I am currently located with its remote IP. Will let the forum know of the results of my efforts.

I am a networking novice but this worked up until a few weeks ago when I first contacted you and your steered me to the portal. Communication with both ISYs using the away IP apparently failed at the same time and, to my knowledge I have done nothing with the firewall. Will, nevertheless do some checking with my limited knowledge of the subject matter. Thanks for the feedback.

A few weeks ago I had problems with a remotely located ISY using its away IP. I could access the ISY using the Admin Console but couldn’t control any devices. UDI did its best to help, but could not resolve the away IP problem. Ultimately, using the Portal, I effectively gained access and control of the ISY. Recently, I visited the location of that ISY. There, I was able to access and control that ISY using the Admin Console and both its local and away IP’s. I then tried accessing the ISY at my primary residence, which was now remotely located, using its away IP. I could access it but could not control devices using normal methods. I did discover that I could click on a simple on/off button of a device using 5 or so quick clicks and control its status, suggesting a communications issue. Using the Portal, access and control was “normal”. During the problems with remote access of both ISYs MobiLinc worked successfully with remote access. This suggests that these problems are related to ISY software. I am running 4.6.2 on a Mac (OS 10.10.5). Michel Kohanim and all, invite your wisdom.

Thanks for the feedback. I will check out the suggestion.

I have an ISY located approximately 325 miles from my primary residence. This past winter I lost the ability to remotely access that ISY using the Admin Console. Michel helped me with this, ultimately gaining access and control using the portal. I recently arrived at that location feeling confident that the underlying problem was the PLM. However, before replacing it, I did some basic maintenance. I rebooted the modem. Then I rebooted the router. I updated the router firmware, then I tried accessing the Admin Console using the local IP. Worked perfectly! There were two devices that needed to be restored. All the others were fine. I am sharing this to encourage others to perform this basic system maintenance before proceeding to trash their PLM. Having said all this, I will prophylactally replace this more than two year old PLM before leaving for the winter.

use two simple programs. Fan Motion - [ID 0024][Parent 0023][Not Enabled] If Status 'Sensors (Motion) / Motion Sensor' is On Then Set 'Fans / Fan Bathroom' On Else Set 'Fans / Fan Bathroom' Off Bathroom Exhaust Fan - [ID 0007][Parent 0023] If Status 'Fans / Fan Bathroom' is 100% Then Wait 15 minutes Set 'Fans / Fan Bathroom' Off Else Set 'Fans / Fan Bathroom' Off This program turns the bathroom fan off automatically after it has run for 15 minutes. I use the MS to deal with other "stinkers". I have used them for a long time in a small bathroom (the only one in a small vacation home). It is programmed to activate the exhaust fan for 15 minutes when it detects motion. No problem, 100% reliable. Just position the sensor so that it "sees" the cat.

I am currently using Stu's BuzzLinc and it has done well. I want to do comparison.

I will be making the leap to v. 5 in a few weeks. I have tried unsuccessfully to determine if the Insteon Siren 2868-222 is now fully supported. I would appreciate a status.

You are probably not going to believe this but I tried that several times earlier and selecting purchase modules never worked. I tried it again and it worked! You must have mysterious influence at UDI!!!! Thanks, the Pro module has been installed.

In a short while I will be visiting the remote location of a 994i which needs the PLM replaced. I have lots of battery powered devices at that location and understand I can disable them if I have the Pro. How do I obtain and install the update and what is the cost?
-
Nice catch but still, most fill their pools with municipal water and the overflow goes to storm drains. Not a good scenario and one which could be very expensive.
-
I gave this some thought, and I would be reluctant to use any automated system unless I had elaborate redundancy and/or the process would only occur when someone was present. Consider a pump stuck in the on position for whatever reason. Just my thoughts.

I have abandoned this effort for the time being. I will resume when I have more time.
