    ISY Not Linking

For 4.6.2 firmware and below, as well as 5.0.12 firmware and below, you will get the original ISY Finder when you launch.
  2. I do have an Elk panel and I like your idea!! Thank you!!
  3. @PhanTomiZ, This is exactly the information I was looking for. I knew I would need to put the ISP equipment and ISY on a UPS. I didn't know how to go about getting the notification. Now I do. Thank you!! Thank you very much!!
  4. @paulbates and @larryllix I appreciate your information. When a device that is offline is queried manually an request failed error is generated. I was hoping there was a way that a query could be sent to a device in a program and if the device wasn't available the ISY would know and then a power outage notification could be sent from that information. Thank you!!
  5. I'm exploring ways to get a notification should there be a power outage. The main purpose is get the notification of a power outage if away from home. One thought I have is to have the ISY, cable modem and router on a UPS. Then have a program that queries a Z-Wave device on a certain schedule. Should a false status be returned by the program a notification would be sent. Of course, if the power outage is affecting the ISP, this will not work. Also once the power is restored, the ISY should probably be restarted. This can be done manually. What other things should I consider? What other methods should I consider to push out a notification that there is a power outage? Thank you!!
  6. @Athlon, Read through this post and I think you will be able to find the answers you are looking for.
  7. @Eclypse, Have you tried copying the Admin Console URL from the portal and then pasting that URL in the ISY Launcher to see if you can reach your ISY that way?
  8. @Eclypse, is it possible your firewall could be blocking the admin console?
  9. @Eclypse, try using the new ISY Launcher if you haven't already. You can find it here.
  10. Try removing and re-inserting the micro-SD card and the re-start your ISY.
  11. Have you tried factory resetting the unrelated switch?
  12. Try a factory reset on the remote and then add the remote back to the scene.
  13. Hi Larry, I just realized, that's exactly what I did. Sometimes explaining my problem to others, makes the everything more clear in my mind. Thank you!!
  14. I installed a Fanlinc and six button Keypadlinc on a ceiling fan/light. The fan and light were both being powered by one black wire coming from the switchbox. The fan and light have separate load wires. Here's how I wired them: Keypadlinc: Black wire - line Red wire - to the load wire going from the switchbox to the light/fan White - Neutral Fanlinc Black wire - to line wire coming from switch box. White wire - Neutral Red wire - Fan load Blue wire - Light load The issue I'm having is, the lights flicker when just the lights are turned on. When the fan and lights are both on, the lights' don't flicker. If I would connect the light load wire to the line coming from the switch box and not use the fanlinc for the light, would that stop the flickering? Or is there something else I should be considering? Thank you!!
  15. Check this out.
  16. Have you tried the new ISY Launcher? Here's the link to it.

Is your wife attempting to connect locally through MobiLinc or the Admin Console?

    break into ISY

It's a module that is purchased from UDI and added to your ISY. However, if you are using the MobiLinc portal you cannot use the ISY portal too. it's one or the other.

    break into ISY

ISY Portal allows seamless remote access without port forwarding in the router.

Tom, Which mobile app are you referring to when you say, "my mobile app can't access anything there"?
