Switches - No Response
A possibility is that the "On" level of the switches somehow got set to zero. This could be symptomatic of a dying PLM. Do you have an older backup from before the problem popped up? Restoring a recent backup may put the problem back. It's possible that the switches' on level is zero but Alexa and other methods are sending a different on-level, if that makes sense

New PC, admin.jnlp not working
If you installed Java, then visit this link https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp You should not need to edit any of the files to make it work. You can also try clearing the Java cache, not that should not be necessary for a new Java install

How/Where do I pay for the extended version?
Go to pg3x and go to the production store, scroll down to the notification plug-in, click that and follow the directions If you've not been to pg3x before, you can go into iox, click the plug-in menu and pick the bottom option to open pg3x. (You'll need to be on you local network in your house, not remote through the portal)

AT&T texting alternative for wife
To keep it simple, would you consider email > email? My guess is that most mobile providers are headed down the path of no more email > text One way would be to set up a separate email account just for this purpose and make sure it can send priority notifications on the phone. That way, the eisy notifications won't get lost in her regular emails, and as a new account just for this purpose shouldn't see spam. The ios email client allows for an manages multiple mailboxes within the app.

Schedule just stopped working and now seems haunted
I see a potential issue. There need to be braces {} the statements -- If From Sunset to Sunrise next day And { 'Masterbath ceiling' switched on or 'Master suite' switched on } Then ..... I think that's what you mean. I didn't type everything all the way out, but you get the idea. The bottom two need to be logically put in a group or you will get unexpected results

Yolink Local API
I inquired about it, here's what they said: Kevin (YoLink) Apr 10, 2025, 10:35 PDT Paul, Thanks for reaching out. The local hub is currently out of stock, and we don’t have an estimated arrival date for the next shipment at this time. Please check again next month or so. Kevin | YoLink Customer Support

network settings greyed out
Fixed ips sometimes are unavoidable.. I started with an ISY994 and used node servers on raspberrypi. There was no other (easy) way to reference the ISY. Ideally services will point at server IP (when necessary), apps connect to service advertised names.

network settings greyed out
Yes, this is now how it works. Static IP addressing is a support headache for UDI when routers are switched out and the local NAT subnet changes. The right way to do it is log into you router and use DHCP address assignment. It will give you a consistent IP address, owned by the router's DHCP.

EISY Randomly turns stuff on and more...
Pick a device part of the group of affected devices and right-click and pick "restore device" This kind of thing happens with insteon. Not all the time, but it happens
-
EISY Randomly turns stuff on and more...
No.. it will touch every link in every device that's part of the scene. Other than deleting and re-adding devices, which is very drastic, restore is the way to go Are any of the devices in question wireless sensors... motion, leak, door?
-
EISY Randomly turns stuff on and more...
A quick test and maybe fix is pick one of the problem devices in iox, right-click and pick "Restore Device"

Yolink Local API
I'm the same boat, interested but not able to participate. I took the suggestion a couple years ago to join the advanced user threads and was turned down in both cases told to use normal yolink support instead.

I3 Switch Setting - Relay at Full On?
I have a number of i3 paddles. I can't find that setting. I looked at the main device, the flags and also under options for programs What specific i3 switch is this, maybe the i3 keypad? Can you provide a screen shot of where you're seeing this?

Can’t edit schedule
When you use your Admin Console remotely, you enter your UDI Portal account (email) and that password when logging in.

Motion Sensor Only Works in Scenes, not Programs
Bigger link table and upgraded components is all I found out. I am hoping for i3 comms but didn't get a response on that either way.

Motion Sensor Only Works in Scenes, not Programs
While it won't help at the moment, Insteon announced that a new PLM is coming, hopefully this summer/year. One of the features is a bigger links table.

Can’t edit schedule
Are you using the app? Have you tried editing with iox/admin console? Are you using insteon? Lights that turn on but not off can be the symptom of a line noisy load like a transformer or motor. When the insteon switch turns the noisy device on, it starts up and creates line noise that overwhelms the switch's electronics. Could you answer those questions, and then post one program that shows one problem?

Repeating a certain program every 30 minutes
Ok, you'll need 2 programs <Program 1> Computer Cabinet once an hour If <no statement> Then Repeat every 1 hour Run If Program Computer cabinet <Program 2> Computer Cabinet <your current program> Notes: Set the first program to run on start up Disable program 2 so it does not run automatically What this will do is the the ISY will run program 1 when its started Program 1 will run once an hour Program one will call program 2 Program 2 is disabled so it will only run when program 1 calls it

Repeating a certain program every 30 minutes
Add a Repeat statement as the first statement under then. One of the options is "Repeat Every" set that to 30 minutes. The statements under Repeat will indent Note that when the conditions of the If are no longer true, it will stop. In this program, it should bounce back and forth between then and else... which I think is your intent

PLM Status remains / Not Connected
I had to reboot my new eisy several times to get it recognized. Then it was fine

Why did I have to recreate my scene?
Another possibility is that the PLM is going bad. How old is it? There's a sticker on it with 4 numbers that documents the mfg dates, you can post those.

Web based AC
Not sure about it being eisy only since there was one recent big software update that included all of it for both eisy and policy It will be web pages that provide the functionality that the admin console currently does. We have to use our imaginations as to what it will look like. I'm fairly confident it will not be a remote terminal session to a Java version of the admin console. While the core ISY functionality as an home automation server will likely remain java, the web service that provides the functionality won't be built on java... likely built on what pg3x uses.

Why did I have to recreate my scene?
Would this be the first time you tried that particular combo, it may have been "broken" in migration? In my experience with insteon & plms on several different HA systems, links can break: From migrations from one controller/plm to another Sometimes powerline fluctuations and/or age of device can cause a controller to forget some of its scene programming. For me it was mostly keypads, but it happened with other devices too
