Thanks for the Node server. I water my lawn leading up to sunrise so no other water is used at that time. I’d like to calculate water usage between sprinklers on and sprinklers off. It’s not clear if current variables could do this but from watching them with sink turned on and off it’s not clear to me. If already possible, how? If not, could it be added?

I like this dimmer and it says you can make an Insteon style (scene) 3+ way circuit within switches which I’ve always loved in Insteon dimmers. I’ll read more about that feature and how new IoP fw release may be exposing access to it. I’ve been following aotec for a few years but issue was they never released some devices they announced, always out of stock or couldn’t get them in the US (eg garage door controller). I like their technology but above made me suspect long term viability. Are you a heavy user of their products and comfortable with the company?

Having a default on level is not mysterious as a dimmers on level can be set. How it got set may be a mystery. [emoji3]

I bought some here. Not sure about conversion rate or shipping to Canada. https://ldsdimming.com/collections/led-dimming-stabilizer

Io_guy will help you in detail but you need to run Make sure you ran the install script as the standard update from gui does not move you to .net 5 Execute http://ISY/rest/ns/1/nodes/n001_ven2/change/Venstar?nls=140V to change the second thermostat. Hi

I couldn’t think what MCU stood for but thought it was most logical choice and I was too lazy to look it up. Lol, so installed all. Of course knowing I could uninstall and be more diligent next time. It worked perfect on FW upgrade and took less than minute.

In the install step, I had to install all before ZWave PC Controller showed up under tools. It is setting a driver that views the Zooz USBstick as a Com: port. If your PC already has real Com: ports or USB to Com convertor ports, could there be a conflict?

Did you follow step exactly in article?

It’s Verizon. They changed their service level agreement for using @vext.com. Search for it on Google.

How to downgrade firmware from 5.3.4 to 4.9
hart2hart replied to DarkCanuck's topic in New user? Having trouble? Start here
I hope you’ve got a good backup. If so reset the ISY and then follow steps including clearing Java cache to install 4.9. Should be able to restore good backup with minimal rebuilding. -
ISY on Polisy v5.3.0 (IoP) - OUTDATED
hart2hart replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in Previous Releases
For large scale conversions, I always save all programs to a text file so I can use it to plan the conversion and as a reference point for during the update. -
I waited a couple hours before I power cycled but then had sinking feeling it might have been FW update. You are best engineer so you likely planned for this user error or a power failure while FW update in progress. Any chance I screwed it up or anything I should look at to confirm? .. or did flashing green mean FW updated so please power cycle? As always, thanks. Looking forward to going all Polisy soon.

I noticed the left green LED was blinking but all on polyglot appear to be running fine. I restarted Polisy and it still blinked. Eventually, I power cycled and it’s no longer blinking and all still working. What does a blinking leftbLED mean for future reference? Could find it by searching and in wiki. Not beyond just missing it. Lol Thanks

RIP My original ISY994 power supply passed away quietly yesterday. … Sound of Taps being played … Ode to scene in movie “A Christmas Story” and in no way a disrespect to those that have served our country.

Another alternative is GCLInk by io_guy. I’ve been using it for years as a supplement to ISY IR. It’s a windows console app and I have a HTPC server where it runs. I’m guessing with a little investigating it would run on a RPI.

A leak sensor sends a heartbeat signal once every 24 hours. When the signal is received, the program executes the Then clause and starts waiting. After waiting 25 hours, it sends a notification that the battery must be low. If it had received another heartbeat the 25 hour wait would start over. This is more of a hint because often times the rf signal is simply missed so I don’t look unless it misses for 2 days.

They were rigid built. I’ve still got 6 from 12 years ago and all still work. They have a bright LED on the side and it blinks as Insteon signals are seen. No guarantee it works but a very good sign.

I repaired 6 out of 7 I had with capacitor replacements.

Do I recall reading you’re a dealer / installer? If so, I would love to conversation offline. Don’t want to stir pot here more than necessary. That said, I too and impressed by Lutron and RA3. My feeling is there will be a few dominant protocols and manufacturers based on who builders start installing on a routine basis. There will likely be low, medium, and high end options. I’d like to see UDI perhaps on Polisy as a certified controller for RA3. Michel and team are best I’ve ever dealt with.

Amen!

As long as they are state variables like you named and indicated it will trigger on a change to either variable. Off the point and not a suggestion, I learned to program years ago so it’s funny to me seeing the short variable names. Mine would be named Indoor_Air_Quality_State.

I see that you fixed it issue. I utilize Insteon scenes and the protocol keeps them in sync almost instantly if you have good comms. This is especially true if all devices are dual band. Were you getting cases where remote device did not set keypad button light that were in a scene together or you don’t use scenes with keypad button and remote device are in a scene together?

You need to read link before commenting. The device pings an outside IP address and when there is no response it power cycles the devices.
