RobKisasa, in addition to the click, did the fan run in the opposite direction?
-
I bought five. I now have three BuzzLincs and two spare buzzers
-
That seems as though it will work, but I wonder why they specify the the bulb must be dimmable.

There is no solution for the Heath/Zenith dual-brite motion sensor. Heath/Zenith relay motion sensors are OK.

Can the Hub and ISY coexist on the same HA network? Yes and no. If you add different devices to each, then there is no problem. But, scenes you create on each the ISY and Hub write those links to the devices themselves, so you may get unexpected results. Also, if you delete a scene and/or device from the Hub, you may need to restore those devices using the ISY.

You may need to spread the leads of the piezoelectric buzzer slightly to neatly fit the spacing between the COM and 5V terminals.
-
Flashed red now and then or blinked continuously? (It matters.) Try moving the LampLinc to different outlets around the house.
-
You are correct. Some devices should be blinking green. It's highly unlikely, although possible, that all the devices are on the same leg of the split, single-phase electric supply. Which device did you use to initiate the test? When you say "flashed red," do you mean an occasional red flash or continuous red blinking?

There is nothing that's returns the device to 100%.

smokegrub, The 21n30p has been updated. The new part # is 21n30pq

A program that turns a bulb on and off (and repeats x times) or a blinking bulb will work. You may also want to add sound:- BuzzLinc

The "If" statement evaluates as false unless BOTH KPL buttons are off when the sensor sends an On signal. What do the KPL buttons control? Are they both always likely to be off when the MS sends an On?
-
The Hub created a scene which is way faster than a program. You can create an ISY scene between the MS and the devices in the Light Bulb scene and it'll be faster, but you lose the ability to schedule the light.

Teken is correct. If something is amiss, then that specific item needs to be corrected or replaced. A workaround for a defect is a route for disaster.

The ideal location for a single pair of Range Extenders is as close to the main panel as possible. additional Range extenders increase reliability and range. Once the first pair is communicating in each direction as indicated by the 4-tap/beacon test, it's not critical where the others are placed. The most effective bridge is a hard-wired coupler in or near the main panel.
-
In virtually all 3-way configurations, at least one white wire is not a neutral wire and at least one black wire is not a line wire. And red is not always the load.
-
It doesn't matter if a KPL has a load or not, but the KPL won't function properly w/o a neutral.
-
The most likely culprit is a defective RemoteLinc. Although inconvenient, remove the RemoteLinc(s) from the scene and wait a few days to observe the result. As far as a program the keep the light off, that's not possible. But you can creates a schedule to turn the light off if it's sensed to be on during the light. Unfortunately, you won't be able to turn the light on during those hours.

Which version is your PLM? PLMs earlier than v2 tend to fail at about 2 yrs.

I use four programs, one for each season based on my location and one program to control the lighting (and window coverings). Example season: Fall - [iD 0056][Parent 0046] If From 12:01:00AM on 2015/08/06 To 11:59:00PM on 2015/11/05 And Time is Sunset - 10 minutes Then Run Program 'Sunset Lighting' (Then Path) Run Program 'Sunset Shading' (Then Path) Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') I do need to change the dates once a year, but ISY version 5 should alleviate that need. And you need only two programs

What does one do if the back-up fails the test? IMO, it's best to backup on a scheduled so you always have a back-up for the back-up. I'd be nice it the back-ups could be automated, after all the ISY is about automation. If you like to tinker with the ISY, then you should make a backup just prior to tinking. Unfortunately, tinkerers don't have the patience, We can't wait for the next tink to happen

The log shows A7 off (11) and on (3) as being assigned to the ToggleLinc. You may have inadvertently given button B an X10 address.
