Support thread for: ISY on Polisy (IoP) v5.4.3 (April 8, 2022)
asbril replied to Michel Kohanim's topic in IoX Support
I am trying to understand what exactly I can do with this. This Zwave device (Guest Fan Light) is linked (in Scenes or Programs) to some of the other devices listed in Native Links but for sure not to all, so I am not sure to understand what these native links tell me or allow me to do with. -
Thanks. Yes I used the "usual" SSH update Sudo commands and PG3 is back !!!!!!! My mistake may indeed have been to do a Reboot Polisy before the updates had been completed. When there are 100 updates, it is better to wait quite a bit before a reboot.
-
what SSH command should is use ?
-
I just did a 'Check for Polisy Updates', noticed 100 available, then did 'Update Polisy', and now I can no longer access PG3. I tried 'Reboot Polisy' but no success. I can access Isy on Polisy and control its devices, but the PG3 node servers are not working on either ISY or on ISY on Polisy. Any suggestion ?

Thanks so much, I need to spend some time on this as " ${sys.node.somenode.name} ${sys.node.somenode.driver} " is language that I am not familiar with.

I have sorted out in my old way ( THEN Node server notification - node Bad Weather - message Node server notification - node Bad Weather - devices all Node server notification - node Bad Weather - priority Node server notification - node Bad Weather -ON ) But I would like to understand how to create a Custom Content in the Admin Console which can contain the drivers from the NOAA Weather node to tell you the Alert and Wind speed in the message. Then the program will just have one line in the 'Then' section.

I have 3.3.3 now

did not work for me, but I have no worries as it is being addressed

Thanks so much. I had not realized that I had added a(n empty) space in Telegram and deleted it. That resolved the issue. However I forgot how I previously used Pushover in my programs. What I did now does indeed push a message to Pushover App on my Iphone, but as "unknown" and "Undefined message 0" : Can you please remind me how to do it correctly ? p.s. When restarting the ns in PG3, it remains on 3.3.1

Unfortunately, there still is an issue and tomorrow I will post the log, but this is where thens gets stuck : 2022-04-03 21:40:27,223 Thread-6 udi_interface WARNING Controller:handler_config_done: Waiting for all handlers to complete start=True params=True data=False typed_data=None cnt=2

PG3 Notification Node server 3.3.0 question
asbril replied to Jimbo.Automates's topic in Notification
Can you explain this ? -
RESOLVED after I found one more update in System-Check for Polisy Updates
-
@bpwwer Upgrade to 3.0.55 was not succesful. I first did on Systems - Upgrade and later with SSH, but now I can no longer open PG3. I can still access IoP through launcher but no longer PG3 with XX.XX.XX:3000 Please remind me how to SSH to previous version

Support thread for: ISY on Polisy (IoP) v5.4.2 (March 29, 2022)

Thanks @Chris Jahn I currently have some 12 Zwave devices on IoP, of which at least one a 700 series and the others mostly 500 series. I assume(d) that I would see the 'native links' in the Event Viewer, but so far nothing shows when clicking on 'native links' in any of the 12 devices. -
Understood. No testing, but you are right that the main part of my setup is still on ISY. However, I have some 12 Zwave devices on IoP
-
I am not sure what it means to have a "test Polisy" (*), but your instructions to change the settings on the PC may be too complicated for me. So, I will wait for what Michel posted earlier. (*) If this means having a separate Polisy for testing, then the answer is no.... I only have one Polisy.

My nr 1 interest is to "associate" motion sensors with lights. In these cases time is of the eseence. In other situations such as programmed 3-way (if light A is ON then B is ON), a ISY program is suitable, even if there is a 1 or 2 second delay.
-
Interesting reading, but do we translate this into ISY ....
-
Your situation is a bit different from mine, but it may just work..... For a number of reasons, I have part of my setup on ISY and another part on IonP. I needed a specific device in IoP to act on the status of another device in ISY. I put a Kasa plug and installed the Kasa Node server on both ISY and IoP. So when the status on the ISY device changes, I programmed that then the status ofn the Kasa device also changes. As the same Kasa device also shows in IoP, I then have a program in IoP that acts on the status of that Kasa device. Maybe you can achieve your goal that way.

This is helpful and I am sure that UD will follow up.

Version 3.0.52 and everything appears to work.
