I tried that first, but I got most back after 2 reboots.

I am probably confused, but I don't see an option in Polisy to update. I once (I think)m did an update from within the AC, but now no longer see that option. Yesterday I performed a SSH update and I believe that I saw 400 updates. After that update, at first none of my 11 Zwave devices showed connected in IoP and all but 2 came back after two reboots. I had to include the other two again (after exclude).

To the best of my understanding, the faster execution would exactly be the objective of association. My suspicion is that series 700 switches with a 7 dongle (as in Polisy) will speed up execution already, so maybe association may not be a big deal.

I also noted that a 700 series switch is fast even with a 500 dongle and therefore I suppose that with Polisy and 700 dongle plus 700 switches the turn-around would be very fast, whether in a scene or a program.

The Hubitat instructions appear not complicated, but what about adding the Inovelli code ?

Don't worry about the 2. error. It just means that you don't have any network resource. I get the same. However, investigate error 1.

I would like to share how I have "connected" my IoP to my ISY. As I am full Zwave and had some issues with my ISY setup, a few weeks ago I moved the Zwave devices in two rooms from ISY to IoP. I will not move my whole setup to IoP until there is the migration tool, and I also use some nodeservers that are not yet on PG3. In our master bedroom I have a Homeseer 200 switch that I have programmed so that each of the 7 sentinels show red when the lights in a zone of our home are ON. When I moved 2 rooms to IoP, those rooms would no longer show on the Homeseer switch sentinel. I realized that the Kasa Node server can be added to both ISY and IoP and when the status of Kasa switches change in IoP they also change in ISY, and vice versa. I got some Kasa switches that I programmed in IoP to go On or OFF depending on the status of the lights in the 2 rooms. In my ISY I programmed so that when the dedicated Kasa switch is on, the sentinel will go red (or green when lights are off). There may be more sophisticated ways to achieve my objective, but this works !

Thanks Chris, I am not sure to understand and I will wait to see @kzboray's results. Right now I tried all the nodes (incl added basic) of a switch that has Association, as Controller, and another switch (with Association) as responder. and no success yet. we will get there. Thanks again.

Based on my experience, you may want to restart Polyglot in PG3.

Successful upgrade with using Help-Upgrade option for the first time. After restarting Polyglot in PG3, it now also shows the correct version (5.4.1) of IoP. I did not have the AC issue mentioned by @JTsao

I have some 80 Zwave devices, including GE/Jasco, Homeseer, Zooz and Inovelli, and in Scenes I can only find, like you, Command, default and ignore. However when I right click (in AC) and go in the Zwave details I can see that Association is part of the device. so Association does indeed exist...... somewhere.

My appeal is for respect and that should cover your concerns as well. Some of us (including myself) have been guilty to responding too quickly to a comment and allowing for emotions to make the response stronger than maybe intended. Sometimes it is best not to respond .

As someone who has greatly benefited from the expertise of so many in this forum, I am kindly suggesting that we all lower the tone. We don't have to agree on everything and in fact an exchange of diverging opinions often contribute to the knowledge of us all. This forum contributes to the value of ISY and it saddens me when emotions interfere with what mostly are valuable conversations.

Is there a practical difference between using a simple program (IF motion sensor is ON THEN light X is ON - Wait 3 minutes Light X is OFF ) and using a variable ?

Without the mythical "Association", with Zwave there is no speed difference beween usng a Scene or a Program.

Thanks, that helped. I noticed that I can not get the nodeserver to work both on ISY and on IoP. It is not a big issue as I just use the Pushover email, but I wonder why. Maybe I should try the PG2 version on ISY and keep the PG3 version on IoP.

Thanks @JimboAutomates Mostly resolved by deleting and re-installing nodeserver. I forgot how to exactly use in programs. As example I have motion sensors at the two entrances to my home and also have a smoke detrector and want to send a Pushover messages to my Iphone. The Iphone connection works when using the Pushover email, so I know that Pushover on my Iphone works. When I want to send a notification with normal priority when the sensors are activated but high priority when there is smoke, I can see the options when programing, but in what order do I put the various options : Priority, Set device on message on motion detected, Set Pushover Device All, anything else ?
