  1. I am all Zwave (some 80 Zwave devices) and two weeks ago I started to explore Scenes, as up to now I use only programs. Michel told me that Zwave scenes should work faster than programs. Unfortunately so far I have not been very successful in creating Zwave scenes : (1) I was able to create a scene whereby specified devices went ON (as desired) but not OFF. (2) Apparently one has to use a scene node of the selected control device which seems to imply a double-click on the switch. I doubt that my wife would remember to double-click. I am as keen as you to make Zwave scenes work but so far not much success.
  2. I installed the PG3 Harmony Hub nodeserver, connected to my ISY 994 and I have a few issues using the nodeserver that I don't have when using the Harmony Hub App on my Iphone : (1) In my ISY "wake-up" program the Vizio TV "Command - Power Toggle" works and switches on the TV. However "Command - Number X" (followed by "Command-Select") does not. Before, when using the PG2 nodeserver, the number X would appear on the TV screen and after "Select" the TV woulkd switch to that channel. Now X does not show and nothing happens. (2) I have a HH routine that I named "Watch NBC" and that turns on the TV and switches to NBC. This works when clicking on the routine in ISY's Main tab, but it does not when including it in a program.

  4. @bpwwer One more question I was able to install the Harmony Hub ns in PG 3. It shows up in the dashboard with all the nodes. I have my ISY in the list of ISY's, but after restarting the ISY AC, the ns does not show up in my ISY. What may I have done wrong or forgotten ? RESOLVED
  5. Resolved. Thanks for your help
  6. I know, but just want(ed) to express my appreciation for your work. Now I need to sort out why it does not let me install the ns (apparent problem with my Portal act).
  7. I have zero issue with paying. Developers deserve compensation for creating and maintaining.
  8. Thanks Bob !!!! I think that I now know what the issue may be. I am logged in, but in my ISY Portal account the Polisy is not linked to my Portal act. It has a yellow icon, stating that my temporary portal act is expiring soon. There is no issue with my (main) ISY. My Portal account expires at the end on 2022. Something must have gone wrong because (I think that) when I first set up ISY on Polisy it was linked to my Portal account
  9. Thanks @bpwwer I just figured it out. As I just posted in the Harmony Hub forum page, there is no "install" next to this nodeserver in the Store, and the same with some others. Any particular reason ?
  10. Any particular reason why there is no "Install" next to the PG3 Harmony Hub nodeserver (and with other ns) ?
  11. I'm sorry. Yes you did answer me. However how can I point PG3 to my ISY ? That was in fact my question, but not properly formulated. p.s. I just found it under ISY and done. Thanks
  12. Thanks Michel, Unfortunately that did not resolve it, but this is not urgent and I will again later this week.
  13. I was going to wait with PG3 till Zwave migration tool is ready, but I have issues with the (PG2) Harmony Hub nodeserver and therefore I am thinking of using the PG3 HH nodeserver. Can I use PG3 with ISY and not yet on ISY on Polisy ? I think to remember that one can use both PG2 and PG3 with same ISY. However, if this is possible, I have the issue that I can not open the Polisy Configuration in PG3. It remains stuck on " Please wait, getting configuration... ".
  14. How did you set the devices in the Scene ( default, Command, ON, OFF ? Thanks
  15. I don't see a reason why you would dissociate UD from Google and if it does not show on your wife's phone, then do the following : In the Google Home App there is a + sign on the top left Click on + Set up device Works with Google Universal devices and then follow the steps with your credentials If I remember well, your issue is that GH does not recognize your wife's voice instructions. As long as UD is linked to your wife's GH, then it is probably not a UD issue but GH not recognizing your wife's voice. I don't right now remember how to re-record one's voice on GH, but you should be able to find that on the internet. Let us know how it goes
  16. I understand and know that scenes work well with Insteon. I am full Zwave with no Insteon and resolve my "associations" with programs. However I was told that (at least theoretically) Zwave scenes work faster than programs. In one test scene this was indeed the case with turning lights ON, but (1) I did not achieve 'lights OFF (2) Using a scene node in the ON scene meant a double-click on the switch, which my wife would not like. I still believe that theoretically scenes should work with Zwave, but more research is needed.
  17. I don't think this is a ISY issue. Though you may already tried this, I would first suggest to reset your wife's "Hey Google" in the Google Home App.
  18. I will tomorrow . Thanks
  19. GE/Jasco light Switches ZW+
  20. I have no success so far with setting up a working Scene (I am all Zwave, no Insteon). Michel told me that Scenes work faster than programs with Zwave, so I am trying hard. The devices that I want to use are are all Zwave Plus and Scene compatible. I have been able to get a scene with the controller turning ON the other devices in the scene, but no luck with turning the devices OFF. Furthermore in that scene the controller only does the ON when I double click (with scene node 001) which is not ideal with my absolutely-non-technical (or should I say tech-hating...) wife for sure not going to remember the double click. So in short, has anyone had success setting scenes with Zwave ?
  21. I use the Holidays Google nodeserver (Polisy) and it is powerful. Once the nodeserver is connected, you enter a whole day event in your Google Calendar and then a node is created in ISY which you can program to trigger whatever you want. In fact in my Google calendar I created some 10 different sub-calendars and have a different node for each of these in my ISY. I have these trigger different programs (lights that go ON when the cleaning lady comes, wake-up for when my wife works or when I have meetings, lights that go ON or OFF when we are on a trip, etc etc.
  22. I am still working on getting the Scene working. I have succeeded in getting the Scene to ON (with physical on switch) by using the scene 001 as Controller (and using the Command for responders), but I have not figured out yet to turn OFF with physical touch on switch. To turn ONn I double click, but nothing happens when double clicking on off. I have even tried to create another scene for Off by using scene 002 as controller and setting responders to Command Off, with double or triple clicking..... but I don't get it to turn Off. As Michel pointed out to me, by using a Scene instead of a program, the reaction time is faster, but I need to figure out the Off..........
  23. The switch that I want to use as Controller has 2 Scene nodes. Do I use one of these 2 scene nodes instead of the main node ? Do I change the Controller node as Default or do I change it to Command (with ON and 100%) and what about the Responders ? Thanks as always
  24. In our master bathroom we have 3 lights (front, middle, back). I currently have a program : IF Front is ON THEN Middle ON Back ON ELSE Middle OFF Back OFF Michel pointed out to me that a Scene would be better than a program, but I have never used Scenes. I created a scene that works in my Administrative Console, but not when I manually click on Front (only sets Front ON)
