  1. https://XX.X.X.XXX:3000/ ?????
  2. THANKS I am not very good at these things and did not want to bother Michel again. He spent so much time already to help me. I changed router a few days ago and, even though I was able to open PG 3, I noticed that in Polyglot settings it showed the old IP address, unlike as in PG which showed the new IP address. I obviously did something wrong. I just entered exactly your steps in PutTy and got no error message. I can still get into PG 2 but still not in PG 3. I should use the address as PG 2 but :3000 at the end instead of /dashboard ?
  3. Need help...... I had Polyglot 3 working under XX.X.X.XXX:3000 but I clearly made a mistake when changing a setting in PG3 after changing router. I can still get in my Polisy with PG 2 and via the ISY launcher, but no longer in PG 3. I have no devices yet in PG 3, so I don't mind something like factory reset PG or re-installing it. I know, more or less, how to use PutTy....... Any help is appreciated
  4. Polisy WILL replace Polisy. Some have already fully migrated. Others (incl me) are waiting for the bugs to have ironed out.
  5. I am all Zwave and have several 3-ways (incl one 4-way). In my case I have two different setups. (1) GE/Jasco regular switches with auxiliary switch. The wiring is different than "dumb" 3-way. (2) Inovelli regular switch with plain old dumb switch as "slave". Wiring different from "dumb" and from GE/Jasco. I am not too fond anymore of Inovelli switches (frequent issues) and I believe that another brand (Zooz ???) also works with dumb switches as slave. Both setups work well with ISY. I don't use scenes much, so can't help you with that. Good luck
  6. Voice control is about the only automation my wife uses and both Alexa and Google Home work well with ISY Portal.
  7. Thanks for your long explanation. I purchased first Mobilinc Pro and then X. I stopped using X after a few days, finding it unfriendly and went back to Pro. About 18 months ago I discovered Home Assistant with lots of help from @MrBill and I think it is very good. And then recently UD Mobile arrived and for me it beats Mobilinc by a long stretch, but I respect your approach.
  8. The real question is why you are still using Mobilinc. The new UD Mobile is so much better.
  9. I believe that it went automatic, though I may have asked Alexa (or was it Google Home, as I have both) to synch or discover devices.
  10. In ISY Portal, click on ISY, then Maintenance, then Migrate
  11. Bravo Benoit & Michel, migration of both Alexa and GH went perfectly.
  12. Yes, in theory having a 300 at far end should allow for the rest of the mesh network to work as 500 or 700. I am not aware of any documentation. So far, I only have 1 700 series device, a light switch and I dont use smart receptacles since I abandoned X10.....
  13. The principle of Zwave is that all Zwave devices are compatible, but the mesh network uses the lowest specs in your setup. Suppose that you have 10 Zwave 700 devices, 10 Zwave 500 and 1 Zwave 300, then in principle the whole network communicates at the specs of the 300 series. Using a 300 device as repeater in between a 700 device and the ISY will operate at the speed and distance of 300. I would think that theoretically if your ISY (on Polisy) has a 700 dongle and you have a 700 series device close to the ISY, then they would use the 700 speed and distance. However the routes used by Zwave devices is not necessarily the most direct. Environmental conditions (walls, furniture) may change the mesh network route. Personally I have a strong Zwave setup (some 80 ZW devices) and therefore my mesh network is excellent, but I still have a few 300 series in difficult to reach places and I believe that my network would be faster without these 300 devices. However the difference might be minimum. In short, I would not recommend to use 300 series devices as repeaters.
  14. As always support from UD is spectacular. My new ISY is arriving later today. I wonder if the new migration will work when my old ISY is somewhat dead, as my old ISy shows as not online in ISY Portal and shows therefore nothing in Connectivity-Alexa / Google Home.
  15. well, this will keep me busy (and out of trouble) for a day ?
  16. This has suddenly become a topic of interest for me...... My ISY is off-line and UD is helping me to resolve the issue, but it may be that I will have to replace the ISY. Right now, because the ISY if offline, I can not access my Alexa or Google settings in ISY Portal. Reading what @MrBill just wrote, I may have to re-enter all my Alexa and Google Home settings from scratch if I can not get my ISY to raise from its current demise . That would be a real pain.....
  17. Thanks Right now the ISY is working again and the AC accessible, but I will get a new 32GB SD card tomorrow. I also opened a ticket with ISY and sent them a copy of the error log (just in case).
  18. just before trying to do the restore, I got a new error messages : Socket Open Failed Java.net.SockettimeoutException and then another when trying restore Upgrade Failed java.lang.NullPointerException I am now reinstalling Java to see if that resolves the issue
  19. Yes, I rebooted several times and on occasion I even got a red light on ther frront of the ISY. I removed the SD card and put it back. Unfortunately I only have 64 SD cards, and I don't think that these would work as (if not mistaken) 32 is the maximum. Just now I was able to get back in the AC with several Zwave deviced needing a synch. I will try a recent backup, though I have a suspicious feeling that it will not make a difference.
  20. Since early today my ISY acts up. It works sometimes but when I load the Administrative Console I get the error Lib_Errors-403. I have a recent backup that I could restore, but that does not seem possible when I can not even enter the AC. Anyone has a suggestion ?
  21. abominable snowman ?
  22. I don't know whether it is the same for others, but based on what people post in this forum I have an image of what you all look like. For instance I see @larryllix as a calm man with glasses and smoking pipe; @lilyoyo1 a school teacher with a drawing board and @Teken as a news opinionator . I can not wait for us to get all together in LA for a UD Polisy PG3 event and see who you really are ?.
  23. Yes you would need a Portal membership, which is really not expensive. Furthermore, and with all due respect to Wes, Mobilinc is no longer the game of the day. Now you should use UD Mobile (IOS or Android), or use Home Assistant, but the latter is a bit more complicated.

Unmanaged can mean that you have another instance Polyglot running, such as Polyglot Cloud.
  25. 1. Delete the nodeserver in Polisy Dashboard 2. Uninstall the nodeserver in the Polisy Nodeserver store 3. Restart Administrative Console
