  1. Have you tried opening a UDI Support ticket? UDI is very responsive. You can reference this thread in the Support Ticket. http://www.universal-devices.com/contact-support/
  2. There is a Firefox V52 esr version. That still supports the npapi Java Plug In. I found it while searching the Firefox help web pages. I probably will not use it. As I have no big issues so far.
  3. Have you had a chance to read the WIKI information on the Error and Memory LEDs flashing? Even if the PLM was dead. It should not be flashing the Error and Memory LED's. When my PLM failed. The only thing that happened was the system went into Safe Mode. No network issues happened. You even tried two ISY994i controllers with the same problem. Pointing to a network issue. You have something bad in your network. The two LEDs in the Network Jack of the iSY994i. Are they On and if there is network activity one maybe blinking? By chance did this happen when you had to change your internet modem and is it also your router?
  4. If the Error and Memory LEDs flashing it is a network problem. From the UDI WIKI. http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#Front_Panel_LEDs.2FLights
  5. Is the 2441ZTH running on an optional DC wall wart or battery? On battery it is in power saving mode and a Query will not work unless woken up. Though it should send temperature changes when detected. Not sure how much of a temperature change is needed for it to send an update.
  6. My Firefox just updated also. Now I get an annoying pop up informing me a web site, including here, is not secure. Log ins could be compromised. Then again when I click on the Password line. Password maybe compromised if you continue message. I have found no way to disable this very annoying feature.
  7. Stu, Are you referencing the NC and NO relay contacts or the magnetic sensor in the kit? I just looked. The present kit has the single contact arrangement magnetic sensor. Not the older more expensive one with NO and NC outputs.
  8. It does sound like the PLM maybe on its way out or failed. If it is over two years old and is a 2413S. When you cycled the power. Did you power up the PLM first and allow it to initialize? Before powering the ISY994i controller?
  9. There are a few threads here on the All-On phenomenon. Many times there was a Motion Sensor in the mix.
  10. Smarthome recently updated the sales page for the I/O Linc to indicate it was power line only and a range extender maybe needed in some installations. I imagine many users where not aware the I/O Linc was an older design power line only module. The box I got my Retail Boxed I/O Linc actually says on it "Wire Band".
  11. It has served you well. Probably much longer than the slightly over two years old most fail at. If you decide to try and rebuild the module as a spare. The V1.0 hardware was different. There was some rework on the main board to add the second capacitor and coil. They are hanging above the main board and not soldered directly to it. Somewhere in the large PLM repair thread here. Is a photo of the V1.0 layout. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13866-repair-of-2413s-plm-when-the-power-supply-fails/
  12. While the Open/Closed Sensor. Needs no AC wiring to use it. Like mounted on a door to detect when it was opened. Both modules have advantages depending on where used and what you want to do with it.
  13. I had the same issue. When I replaced some 2456S3 AppliaanceLincs with the 2635-222 On/Off Module. As Teken pointed out. They are not a same module type so the replace with will not offer it as a replacement.
  14. Did you follow the instruction on how to replace the PLM? http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/19331-my-plm-died-and-i-bought-a-new-one-what-should-i-do-next/ Have there been any changes in the home? Like a new electronic device or moved an existing electronic device. Is the PLM on the same electrical circuit as the computing equipment? If it is are you using a filter to isolate the computing equipment from the PLM?
  15. Depending on the hardware revision of the 2412S. It may have the small Link Database size of 417 links the later ones where >2000 links but more than 800 would slow it down too much.
  16. Pop and LED off. Has failed completely. You need a new one or rebuild the old one. Make sure you follow the proper replacement thread in an earlier post in this thread.
  17. I would also say PLM is failing. Long thread on how it fails and how some of us have repaired ours. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13866-repair-of-2413s-plm-when-the-power-supply-fails/
  18. I have seen the same grey updates needed when I have automatic updates to battery devices is disabled in my Pro version. I keep mine off but lately temporarily enable it when doing anything with a battery operated Insteon Module. You can hold the set button on the RL2 until the LED flashes. Then click on the A button entry and pick update.
  19. Do you have the DCR-2500 to receive the BBT-250 Motion Sensor information? It has four relay outputs that can be used to trigger a 2450 I/O Linc's Sensor Input. That can be used in your ISY system.
  20. There have been a few threads here on the 2342-232 4 Scene Remotes being a problem when adding them. No it should not be so difficult to add one. Mine added with no issues. Similar to the problems with the 2440 old RemoteLinc in this thread is covering. You may find some added information in the other threads with the same issues. Here is one of them http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/21093-cannot-determine-insteon-engine-for-mini-remote/ Thank you for providing the information printed on the white sticker on the back of the remote. Now that you got it added. What firmware version for the remote is showing in My Lighting? Does the six digit Insteon ID reported in My Lighting match the six digit ID printed on the back of the remote?
  21. Any hardware revision 1; 2413S PLM. Over two years old have a reputation of power supply failing. Do a PLM Info/Status. Should show the PLM six digit ID, firmware version and connected. A Show PLM Links Table should show the links in the PLM. If it is very low. The PLM is on its way out. Working for a short time after a power cycle. Is also a sign of a failing PLM. If you are interested. There is a very long thread here on the 2413S PLM failures and repairs. http://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/13866-repair-of-2413s-plm-when-the-power-supply-fails/
  22. A test to see if the 2342-232 is not working at all or only with the ISY994i series controller. Trying to manually link it to an Insteon Module. If it links then it is not completely dead. If linked to a module in the Administrative Console and then doing a Show Device Links Table of the module manually linked to. You should see a record mismatch and the 2342-232's six digit ID. Remote chance the ID printed on the back label is incorrect. That would leave an unwanted link in the module you tested with. I believe a Restore Devise would remove it.
  23. If you did the PLM link database count and there was any action on the power lines. The count maybe off. Do you get the same 1,640 every time you do a PLM database count? Are you using a 2413S PLM or the older 2412S PLM? The 2413S has a link database of 1023 entries. 1,640 would be overwriting some of the links. The later revision 2412S PLM has a link database of >2000 but anything over 800-900 would start causing issues. I have seen reports of Restore Modem (PLM) removing links for removed devices to lower the count.
  24. It has been awhile since I had found the Lutron Technical paper. It was a heavy duty coil and not a filter. Glad you did find the correct information.
  25. Universal Module sounds like an X10 description. With a pulsed dry contact output. Insteon I/O Linc Module maybe what was being thought of.
