  1. Thank you for the information. It has been so long now. It could actually be a completely PLM than the one in the FCC Database. As parts used may no longer be made.
  2. Not too sure when if ever the new PLM may show up. I second the real long time as it was originally during the Richardson ownership I beleive. FCC: SBP22342, 2234-222 USB, 2234-223 Serial.
  3. Doesn't bother me. I just wanted to point it out. I am 100% happy with my ISY994i as it does everything I need.
  4. Did notice a few things in the email information. The new R2 has wi-fi 5.0 and Bluetooth 5.1 and the older wi-fi 6.0 and Bluetooth. May not make much difference for some while it may for others.
  5. Other manufacturers also make similar devices to the Wago and should work fine.
  6. I did the same as what Mr Bill is doing. But for safety added a WAGO on the Insteon modules RED wire so it could not touch anything. I have also cut a 3 conductor extension cord in half and was also connecting the socket end to the setup. So a load could be added to see how it controlled a load. WAGO Lever nuts come in 2,3 and 5 position sizes so connecting both ends of an extension cord can be done.
  7. Thank you for the update.
  8. I put my Insteon devices addresses in a database besides marking it in the module. Mine where worn off on the remotes. Also real old ones had paper stickers that liked to fall off.
  9. One more thought. If they are the original 2476S on-off relay models. They do not have an Air Gap switch and used a convoluted way to factory reset them. Easy way to tell. If pulling out the set button (Air Gap) and the module does not power off. It is a real old original design. The 2476D dimmer always had an Air Gap Switch
  10. J/Status Request in X10 signaling is all ones. 11111111. It sounds like noise to me also.
  11. The old X10 power line interface device will not be used with either eisy or ISY994i Both require a 2413 PLM. ISY994i a 2413S serial port PLM, Eisy a 2413U USB PLM or optional USB to serial 2413S adapter UDI sells.
  12. Added plugins that you purchased for an ISY994i. Are connected ISY994i's UUID number. So getting it moved maybe very hard or not possible at all. Or are you just using the basic Elk support in the firmware and not the purchased ELK Security plug in module? From the manual: ELK Security Module While the ISY does include some ELK integration built-in, it is fairly limited in that most of the integration must come from the ELK side. For example, you can write a program on the ELK to turn a light on through the ISY, but you cannot write an ISY program that turns a light on based on the state of an ELK resource. The ELK Security Module changes that, fully integrating the ELK with the ISY allowing you to use the ELK’s available resources in your ISY programs. The list and state of available ELK resources can be found in the main ELK tab in the Admin Console.
  13. Glad it is working for you. I suspect the UPS and filterlinc are not passing the Insteon power line signals and the module is getting through on Insteon RF. The power supply in the I/OLinc probably can accept an AC voltage if yours isn't pure sine wave. Some do fine others get picky.
  14. If you are plugging the On/Off module into the output of the UPS. Most have a filter on the AC input so it will absorb all the Insteon power line messages. If the On/Off module is dual band it may work on Insteon RF if it can read the messages. My UPS is on the AC Line into the UPS to stop it from absorbing the Insteon power line messages. Also if it is not a pure sine wave AC output on battery but is a stepped or modified output. It may cause some power supplies in modules to not work or possibly damaged. Carefully do some tests while closely observing the module and see if it has issues.
  15. Both switches get replaced by an Insteon switch. One then controls the light itself. The other one just controls the switch with the load and has its red load wire capped off. Both get cross linked. The travelers between the switches are reused to power and neutral between them. As needed.
  16. One possibility is the modules electronics got confused by the short power cycle and acting strange. An air gap or power removal then powering back up. Started the internal reset circuit to completely restart the module from scratch.
  17. Is their a manual switch controlling the load at a different location? The white and black connected together. Looks like a switch loop and the white in that case is not neutral but is a line or switched load from the remote switch. Technically it the whites should have a piece of black tape around it or have a black mark around it to verify it is not a neutral but has power on it.
  18. That sounds correct. The ISY will not show an X10 address in a module. If there is an X10 command it should show in the log or if active in the Event Viewer.
  19. No the firmware on the 2443 v2 main board will still act like a 2443 v2 Access Point with a serial daughter board on it. As it does not have the PLM firmware in it.
  20. I saw Alexa was one of the effected servers. It was a problem with the Amazon Web Service and it effected many sites that use the AWS.
  21. Saw this internet outage on the early news this morning. It was also effecting my news casts though my Roku streamers.
  22. Found my 2413UH manual for the Houslinc 2416 Houselinc sales kit. It was from2012. It may work fine but as others have indicated. I know the ISY994i must not have checked the Subcategory as users had used them. With the serial version 2413SH It may have older firmware and components from what is presently sold. The information on the back label would give you some data. Like revision number and production dates.
  23. 2413UH is the USB version used by their purchased version Houselinc software. It has a different Subcategory number their software checks. Not sure as the EISY goes as far as checking the Subcategory number. Others here should have more information in using it.
  24. I actually had a V1.0 with 10uF 25V caps. V2.1 changed C7 and C13 to 100uf 35V and V2.3 to 100uF 50V too large to fit the PCB solder holes. They mounted parallel to the PCB and held in with component glue
  25. Actually they may look like their in series but they are not. There should be a jumper wire to the trace side of the PCB, a trace cut on the back side and a small coil between the two capacitors. It is creating the pi filter on the power supply. Found on the later PCB layout. I have never tried it but if you use care it could be possible to do it. 10uF is woefully to small and only was in the V1.0. 2413SV1.0.pdf
