  1. I just upgraded from Polisy to eisy this morning. I followed all migration instructions and took my time. I have 50+ insteon and 12 PG3 node servers. Everything migrated perfectly. There was only one minor issue, the Vue nodeserver didn't work, but that was fixed easily with guidance from the Vue forum. All in all it only took a couple of hours this morning! My hat is off and a BIG Thank You to all the behind the scene efforts and fellow ISY'ers who blazed the trail before me. You all did an excellent job and made this so easy! Thank You!!! -Tim

  2. For anyone interested. I had MQTT working on Polisy for a long time. As I remember it required adding a mosquitto config file to change the port. Upgraded this morning to eisy, followed all instructions for migration, once PG3 was migrated to eisy and rebooted MQTT/Sonoff worked perfectly right from the restart. No additional tweaking or any changes to the config needed! Thank you to all involved!!! -Tim
  3. Not to hijack this string, I just upgraded from Polisy to eisy, followed all instructions and found Vue ns had the same problem as the op @thewebgeek . I upgraded the dev packages as @bpwwer suggested and followed @thewebgeeklead and installed sudo pkg install py39-boto3, rebooted and Vue is now working beautifully! Thank you to both of you for forging the path! -Tim
  4. @Javi, how can I download 1.0.30 beta for android please? Thank you!
  5. Thank you, updated and works perfectly again. Once again, you are amazing! Thank you!
  6. Hi @bpwwer, Just updated Polisy (IoX) on Saturday, updated thru the admin console. Everything seemed fine. Got up sunday morning and no programs or scenes which have vue switches in them were controlling the vue switches. Rebooted Vue node server and it worked ok until this morning, same thing. I turned on debug in vue node server. When I got home this evening ISY was not able to control any switches. However I noticed if I manually turn on any of the vue swtiches it updates the admin console with the on/off status as well as measurement. But trying to turn on and off thru the admin console does nothing. Around 5:10pm Pacific is about when I started turning the switch on manually. Tonight, simply rebooting PG3 did not fix it. I had to reboot Polisy. All is well again...Perhaps the problem is with IoX since that was the only thing updated on Saturday and this problem started Sunday morning. I tried to attach the node server log but it is 7.2mb zipped, 94mb unzipped, it wouldn't attach. How or where can I attach such a large file? I have attaced the error log from IoX. *** UPDATE I take it back,Everything that I try to above did not bring back switch functionality through the admin console. It continues to report data and continue to report when the switches manually turned on and off. The admin console reports when the switch is turned on and off via the vue app thru my phone as well. I am open to suggestions please. 7. @Goose66, The file size is 2.6mb, I waited 20 minutes and it still wasn't uploaded, perhaps the forum will not allow attachments that large? Is there somewhere else I can send it to?
  8. @Goose66, You are right, sorry, no MyQ log but I do have PG3 log. If you would like it, where should I send it?
  9. Update: Deleting and re-installing the node service back into the same slot fixed the issue.
  10. Hello @Goose66, after attempting to upgrade MyQ to .21 it shows as disconnected. Further restarting either the MyQ node server or PG3 results in disconnected and it still shows an upgrade is available. No logging after the upgrade. I am on Polisy with PG3 v3.1.16 and IoP on v5.5., currently MyQ reports v3.1.19 If you would like a log file from PG3 please let me know to send please. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  11. Thank you for the quick confirmation. Order placed. -Tim
  12. Hi @Jimbo.Automates, Was going to order 5 of the new quad water sensors to test. I clicked on your affiliate link but the webpage that opened was the blog/news page for wireless tags. I was expecting the link to take me to the webstore. Can you please confirm please? : https://goo.gl/rXAGk9
  13. @bpwwer, Couple of weeks ago I updated IoP by AC>Configuration>Upgrade Packages. After it was complete IoP reported it updated to v5.4.5 I read this morning PG3 had been upgraded so I performed the same procedure as last time. Waited an hour, rebooted PG3 but it did not update. We used to be able to ssh in and upgrade PG3 but have not done that as I am not sure it would be the right thing to do. I am not sure what to do next and I didn't know what logs you might need. Looking for suggestions for the next step please. Thanks! Tim
  14. Is it possible to restart PG3 individual node servers or PG3 as a whole, remotely? I am on the latest v of IoP and PG3. Thank you, Tim
  15. @bpwwer, Does that mean that if the Tempest isn't reporting, say because the battery is dead, that the hub will not broadcast? Or does it broadcast even if it is not receiving data from Tempest? And if it broadcasts even though the tempest is dead, does that mean the "Hub Seconds Since Seen" will reset to zero every time even with no new data? And lastly, the Hub Seconds value showing in the admin console must not show the current value or change value, in other words, what I am seeing is that it is not updating the seconds. Right now it is still showing 7seconds, the same as when I opened the console a few hours ago. Thanks! Tim
  16. Thank you @bpwwer, as you so wisely said, their servers must have been having some trouble. The fault corrected itself and all has been well since. Thank you! -Tim
  17. Hi @bpwwer, the batteries apparently died in my Tempest and it stopped reporting 17 hours ago according to the app. In the app there is a "Offline" indicator. I am not seeing an indication that the NS reports an offline condition. Is there a way to incorporate the Offline status in the NS? If not, what would be your recommendation for creating a program based on what is reported in the NS that could notify me of a similar condition? My first thought was to use "Hub Seconds Since Seen" value in the NS but I haven't been able to figure out what the number reported indicates. Currently it is 7, last night the highest was 10. Is there a bug with using it? How often is it supposed to be reported to IoP? I think it has reported 7 since I opened the admin console a couple of hours ago but I could be mistaken. IoP v5.4.5 Weatherflow v3.0.25 Thanks for your time. Tim WeatherFlow_12-4-2022_81616-AM.zip
  18. Hello @bpwwer, I got up this morning and none of my Vue switch modules were reporting in ISY. I see a lot of the same error messages which I don't understand. When you have a moment can you take a look and let me know what you think? Thanks! Tim VUE_11-26-2022_65743_AM.zip
  19. I just logged into IoP and checked the portal tab. It shows as online but unable to log into portal like everyone else. Shouldn't the tab show as offline? Just curious. -Tim
  20. I found after upgrade PG3 thru the AC everything seemed to be running fine. When I tried to open the AC with ISY Finder, finder only reported 1 Polisy but the UUID reported all zeros on port 8080. Normally I get two choices, 8080 and 8443. I was not able to gain access at all. I ssh'ed in and shutdown Polisy. Rebooted and all is well again with finder, back to normal. In no way a big deal, just wanted to report my experience. @bpwwerand everyone else behind the scenes, Awesome job! I like the new redesign of the production store too. Makes it easier to see whats installed, a lot easier on the eyes for me. Thank you! -Tim
  21. Hi @dbarentine, I recently upgraded this ns but it is still reporting there is an upgrade available even though it is reporting its on the current version (2.0.1). Not a big deal at all, it is continuing to work fine but just was wondering if I did something wrong or if it might indicate there is something wrong. Thank You for the great ns and your support! -Tim
  22. @Michaelv, Did you mean the new PLM is a 2413U? Or is it in fact a 2412U? 2412U is not listed in the Polisy user guide as an option. 2412S is listed, not sure if the U is compatible or not.
  23. @hart2hart I believe a wait with nothing after it will not execute, it needs another command after it in order to wait.
  24. I am away from my office computer but if memory serves isn't there a PG3 node server called backup the does something like that?
  25. Does this node server show data from all 16 C.T.'s if connected? Also, will it recognize the new smart plugs that Emporia sells now which also monitor power consumption? Thanks!
