Very sorry things are not working out for you Tom. I know how frustrating it can be with the amount of time spent. Maybe in time there will be some answers and future updates might resolve so you can take advantage of the latest. I wish I had more insight to Z-Wave to help. With only 2 devices I have not spent much time there and trying to help with what my experience was with the upgrade. Wishing the best on future expansion & upgrades. So it worked with 5.3.0 and the 500 board if it were right next to the device? I see you reversed to a 5.1 release & 300 but what has been your upgrade path to that point? Meaning.. what release were you on last with all working with 300. Something seems odd with your specific environment maybe. You used 2X 500 boards? Did you purchase another because you thought the 1st was not ok? I don't know specifics on the board differences but I wonder if something is conflicting in your environment from the 300 to the 500. Not sure how best to isolate but I wonder if the setup was a new config from scratch what your experience might be. I know you have already seem to be fed up so not sure if you are still willing to sort out. So far I have not seen any change good or bad moving to the 500 & 5.3.0 but I have not added or changed anything since and only have 2x z-wave devices. One is about 20 ft. from my ISY (front door lock) and the other in my basement water shut off and they both work fine still. No repeaters or extenders.

So this is for 5.2.0 - Can't say for 5.3.0 so use carefully. I would upgrade to 500 personally to avoid any issues and have the latest anyway.

I saw a post where someone did but need to search for it. I recall all was ok. But the instructions do say to upgrade the 500 first so there must be a reason. I also recall that upgrading from 5.0.16C only benefits Z-Wave so if you don't have any it is really not necessary?

Unfortunately not much .. high contrast is a little better (the lighter one). My age is not helping my eye sight these days.. . If these are my only options high contrast could make due. Bolder/black would be best I think in any of them.

I did a search and other than themes and font size I'm coming up empty handed. Maybe it is the way I'm searching? So my thing is the color of the folder expansion arrow is so lightly colored it is hard to see in the admin panel. Does anyone else have this or know if it can be changed? I feel like it is something simple but have not found it yet and didn't want to bother here but I'm hitting a dead end. Attaching my view in case it is only me. Thanks..

I am good now with using my g-mail. Would recommend something similar this way you do not rely on a UD server.

Thank you.. I have been wrapped up in the holidays I didn't realize how long they were not working. I added my g-mail for now and a test is working so I'll review this post and see what is the best direction for me or leave it now. Hi there everyone! Hope you had a great Christmas.. I was wondering if anyone else are not receiving the Default e-mails/notifications. I get a "Mail Server Failure / Unsupported Authentication Method" when I try to run a test. Glad it is sorted out. I was just trying to help as there is a lot of information in that post, sorry you took it the wrong way. I use a Mac also and did not experience that otherwise I might have been more helpful to you. I know it is basics but just a thought you are using the 16b console? I have not experienced what you have yet. Maybe try & reboot and try again if so.

I'd imagine like you said things are busy and with the holidays it makes it even more challenging as this is time to spend with family & friends. I know it may seem like a stretch but did you try removing it and reinstalling it physically? Did you have a backup before this with .14 and try a restore to that? Maybe also try to do another manual update to .16B if nothing works.

I had also tried to set the Z-Wave options to "No" on Automatically putting battery devices to sleep and have had a few occurrences of non-updated status resulting in my lock not operating properly with my Geo-Fence. I have to manually check every time to make sure my lock works now since it is inconsistent or not rely on lock automation. Hopeful it is a minor fix.

That is probably a good way to describe it.. It does work and programs run most of the time but for some reason when it does not update the correct status is when things fall apart. I see this as an important item to see what is going on as I do rely on Geo Fence to make sure my locks are locked when I'm away. Now with the inconsistency I have to keep checking and not comfortable things are doing what is expected. Kind of goes against the automation aspect. Hope there is a simple fix. I would rather not look for a new lock.

Yup.. installed B a few days ago and no issues here with leak sensors. Good tip on the disabled programs. I have a few myself and at one time started dumping them into a folder called "Disabled Programs" but recently I have just left them where they were and a few got me on this coming from 4.7.3. I had lights turning on when I was not expecting to and after some detective work I finally realized 2 of my disabled programs were still enabled crating the effect. Not sure how I would live without UDI.. they are truly awesome and I am always recommending them when someone sees my home automation.

Seems good here also so far on B.. just came from A but was having one last issue with my Z-Wave Schlage Connect not updating a status after a while so some of my programs are not running right at times. Did not have that before going to 5.0.16A from 4.7.3. I just tried to set the option to not automatically put battery devices back to sleep. Hoping that helps. Seems my leak sensor activation, notices and Dome water valve all shut off during a test so that is good now. Keep up the great work UDI!!
